    Please trade Buck, Ryan and Pablo. It will make it much easier for me to become a fan of a serious MLB team when I move south this summer. 50 years of this is quite enough. The Pohlad family has pissed on whatever loyalty I had left.

    Definitely not an exciting pick, but no sense bitchin' about it. Shelton seems to be well thought of by his players and it appears he never had the pieces available to put together a winning season in Pitt. He does seem like a good baseball guy. Hopefully, he is allowed the freedom to select a good coaching staff with a few old schoolers who are not total analytic geeks in the mix. Twins seem to lack grit (and a bullpen) but those things can be fixed. Maybe, he will be allowed to fix them. Who knows? I'm not super optimistic anything good can happen with this team.

    I am a fan of not having a slew of games that don't finish until after 11PM Central Time. With the acceptance of the DH in the NL, and increased inter-league play, there really is no reason for separate leagues anymore. Regular coast-to-coast travel is costly both financially and physically. Divisions based on region make much more sense.

    The return is pretty disappointing. Hopefully we can convince him to return next season.

    I've started following the Reds. Following a top-tier team after the ride we've been on the last 30+ years would be too big a jolt to the system. The Reds are fun to watch, at least until the Pohlads are gone and competent ownership (hopefully) takes control.

    Rotation depth is important. Paddack is finally able to do what the Twins signed him to do, Ride that train until the wheels fall off.

    I like Rocco, he seems to be a really good guy. Unfortunately, under his management, this team is just not putting things together and haven't been able to since mid-season last year. A fire needs to be lit, or this season will be over before May (it might already be toast). The Pohlads finding a buyer with a win-now mentality might do the trick, but that doesn't seem to be on the horizon. Rocco, may have to be the sacrificial lamb. Desperate times call for drastic measure. We are obviously in desperate times.

    Screw that, I've done 50 years of "adding for the future". Hasn't worked out too well. The future is now.

    My current level of fandom towards this franchise is at a 20 year low. Trading one of the most exciting, productive players on the team due to "budget constraints" would turn my interest meter to zero.

    Sure, if the Twins want to force me to finally end my 50 years of team fandom, by all means, trade Joe Ryan.

    I like the deal. As much as I enjoy watching Arraez, I worry about his knee issues and there is really no good spot for him in the field. Twins need pitching. They got a pretty good one. Salas seems like a solid infield prospect too.

    I really feel bad about this situation, unfortunately I guess it happens to all players eventually. I've always been a Duffey fan. I really hopes he figures things out. Seems like a good guy.

    A good day. FO made some big moves, and I think they got what they wanted without overpaying. A solid foundation for a playoff run next year too. Let's go!
