    Why wouldn't he waive the no trade clause? He still gets paid regardless. He may actually think the Twins are to blame for his injuries. And there's the old getting a fresh start in a new organization and then sticking it to MN for giving up on you.

    What a stupid take and a waste of a read. The Dodgers out spend everyone and have only won one world series in the last 20 years and the same can be said about the Yankees. Another thing for you about Kansas City that many don't know about. They were the original cheaters of this era and never took any heat the the Astros or Red Sox.

    Bubba & Duarte are the top candidates unless there are some minor trades. You can never rule any type of trade either.

    I would think the Santana signing tells us that AK won't be ready for 2024 and Santana and Julien will share DH and first base. My new thought also has them playing Farmer or Castro at second. Which also depends on whether they sign a CF. If not Castro won't see any action at second.

    I don't think Brooks Lee will be a "platoon player" when he gets promoted.

    Sure hope you paid extra for autograph and got some sort of certificate of Authenticity or that they could register it or whatever.

    Isn't this like the Twins saying Buxton isn't available? No reason to sell low on a cheap pitcher. As for Buxton, would any team be willing to trade for him right now? Even at 15M I don't think I would gamble on him unless you are a team like LAD that print money.

    Solano is more than just a guy to plug into first base. He can play all infield positions and could also turn into a good pinch hitter as well. He is a good hitter and would a nice addition to the bench.

    Any reason why Miranda can't figure it out in St Paul? Makes no sense to "try" him up with the Twins. Let him play everyday with St Paul and if he's ready he will get promoted. Pretty simple.

    IT lets them keep Varland in the bullpen. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not sold that Varland has enough pitches to be a good starter. Let him throw gas in the pen.

    Not a bad return. DeSclafani is obviously not going to replace Gray but at least he is a veteran starter that can be plugged into the 5th spot. Topa looks like a decent arm for the bullpen and Gonzalez most likely will make our top 10 prospect list. It also frees up the second base logjam a bit as well. Maybe Brooks Lee is ready by late May early June.

    Just sign Aaron Hicks and call it a day. I know he's nothing special but he's cheaper and way better than Nick Gordon. Castro is better suited for super utility role/pinch runner.

    As much as this pains me to say, just sign Aaron Hicks to a one year contract. It would be league minimum since NYY cut him with 2 years remaining. It's the best option for the penny pinching Pohlads.

    None of the 3 listed players can bring back good rotation help by themselves. Unless they add prospects with Kepler/Polanco they won't be able to trade them for useful players. So technically the Twins are being honest with us on them.
