    Does it make sense for the Twins to keep Outman in St Paul if he goes unclaimed? Unless he's banished to the bench and pretty much just a pinch runner. The Saints have too many in the outfield already and will get worse once everyone is healthy. No reason for Outman to steal any AB's from the prospects.

    SWR will get claimed and they will try to get him into the minors. It might take 3 teams until the rest of the league gives up on him. I would have tried him in the bullpen and only let him throw his plus pitches. If that only leaves him with 2 pitches that's fine for 1 inning of relief.

    I really don't think a move to first could be accomplished as easy as you may think. The easier idea could be DH and platooning in left with Larnach.

    He still has a lack of knowledge of the strike zone. He's still chasing bad pitches. Nothing has changed besides facing lessor talented pitchers.

    I'm not sure why the Twins said Brooks Lee is their third baseman after sending Royce Lewis down. They didn't have to make any statement, and if was pressed they could say they feel most comfortable with Lee at third over the other current candidates on the roster. What makes even less sense is Lewis is playing third for St Paul. If they plan on moving Lewis to a different position what are they waiting for? He probably makes more sense at first or one of the corner outfield spots. Or simply make him.the DH. I would expect Lewis is fighting back against a position change and most likely trying to force a trade. They won't trade him when he has no value.

    If that was the case he would be on the 60 day IL and they would open up a roster spot.

    Has there been any reports on how long he will be out for? Hopefully it's not too long and he can possibly get called up by the Twins. From what I have seen Hendry Mendez is looking like the next outfielder up if Jenkins and Rodriguez can't stay healthy.

    I doubt it. I don't think he's got a good eye at the plate. He's always chasing pitches and gets worse when he's behind on the count.

    He will be able to crush AAA pitching. The only problem is the gap between AAA and the majors. They may be challenging him in AAA trying to blow him away. In the majors he will look lost and not be able to handle it when they throw harder and pin point location.

    I agree. When you don't have legit stars they should just simply do players in the Twins HOF. There's nobody that would have been upset with a Hrbek or a Killebrew jersey day.

    I saw his interview and he was upset he got demoted. Apparently he doesn't look at his stats or any video. I would expect the Twins to recall him before June 6th when they have his jersey giveaway. I would make him stay in St Paul for more than 2 weeks. Like I said before he should have been sent to Fort Myers for 2 weeks and if he got his stuff figure out and week or so in St Paul.

    Lewis should have been sent to Fort Myers. He needs a mental reset along with just about every fundamental baseball skill.

    Maybe the Twins believe in him.as an infielder. Is he another shorter version of Carson McCuster with some speed? I would have more confidence in him than Wallner.

    I was listening to Trevor Plouffe and he tried working with him on his swing and trying to reduce his leg kick. He didn't retain anything they tried to fix. The best thing to do with Wallner & Royce Lewis would be to send them both to Fort Myers. At least there they wouldn't have the distractions and less pressure. Both of them need a mental reset along with finding their swings again.

    Would you rather see Garcia & Lewis continue to struggle or give some veterans a shot. With payroll limitations they Sadly have to dumpster dive and hope to find a diamond in the rough. It would also give them a chance to hope to fix Lewis.

    Luis Garcia has been terrible for the Twins and Matt Bowman exercised his opt out and has to be added to the active roster by Wednesday. Bowman has been impressive for the Saints and the way the bullpen has pitched the Twins need all the help they can get. At worst if Bowman flops in the majors the can keep claiming DFA players and hope to find a serviceable arm.

    Some would say that's a good problem to have but I don't see it that way. A player can't get hot when they aren't playing every day. You also can't break out of a slump either. You would think Emmanuel Rodriguez would get called up when he gets healthy and is playing well.
