  1. Right, as long as they get to play in at least 4 games a week if not more. Having him sit on the bench and only being used as a pinch runner is jerking him around.
  2. It's not a bad spot to be in if you think about it. If someone gets released the Twins can easily drop like one of eight players and go from there. I know it's dumpster diving but you can always get lucky and find a gem. They should also grab a player in the rule 5 draft and maybe even trade for another if they see someone they really like there.
  3. The roster is at 40. There are 4 easy drops and 3 borderline guys. So don't be worried they won't do anything.
  4. Not even close. You would have to add like one of the following Rojas, Abel or Bradley with Wallner to even get their attention. Ford is like a top 50 or better prospect, nobody just gives prospects away/
  5. It makes some sense, but it's a waste of a cannon for an arm to be moved to 1st. First decide between Wallner & Larnach for which player you want to keep or trade the one with a higher trade value and then move the remaining one to first.
  6. If Royce Lewis can stay healthy and bounce back he could be a major piece of the offense. They had a few rookies that could be coming up as well. Also, if they keep stealing bases and being aggressive on the bases it will also help them.
  7. If they don't trade away a starter all this team needs is to rebuild the bullpen and they could contend.
  8. Coulombe and Rogers wouldn't be a bad idea. Both can be flipped at the deadline if the Twins are not in the playoff hunt. Rogers would be interested since he would be the closer.
  9. I didn't know Jenkins also pitched. What a plus...
  10. I'm confused, it's supposed to be down to 4 people but Torii Hunter has not interviewed for it and would be interested in the job. Does that mean they don't want anything to do with him or just the way Pohlad's don't communicate properly.
  11. Actually if you take the bullpen mess they created there's not many positions that need to be addressed besides backup catcher and probably an upgrade at first over Clemens. If they don't trade away any starters and could find some cheap bullpen arms they could probably compete in 2026.
  12. There's a better chance of getting a new owner before they would think about bringing back Castro. They have young and cheaper players for his role. And if they keep the payroll so tight why would they consider paying 5-10M for a super utility player?
  13. They could honestly just as well do this. Rocco seemed like he was managing by a book. I hate all these managers relying on analytics and not trusting their players.
  14. That's exactly what the Pohlad's want to hire. No experience equals cheap contract.
  15. I don't think Coach Trev has any interest in managing for the Twins.
  16. The Twins have too many left handed bats in the 2026 outfield mix. If I was one of them I would be begging them to work with one of them to learn to play 1st. Wallner has too big of arm to be moved to 1st. So it would be the best thing for Larnach to stick around.
  17. They also seemed to do more lower body work like running. All these guys today seem to just want to lift weights. I'm no expert, but I would think they get more velocity out of stronger legs and through the hips.
  18. They are babied big time in the minors. For a long time starters would not throw over 65 pitches in a game. Now how does that work when they get promoted to the Twins? They are not able to get out of the 3rd inning. I can see limiting pitchers to 65 pitches a start until mid May or so.
  19. IF every player has a vote the lower salary players will win the vote. This is the one time the 1% would get screwed.
  20. I was saying it for the Twins. If they can get Milwaukee in their division it's a major win.
  21. I'm so tired of all these Royce Lewis articles. If he was mashing the ball he wouldn't be talking about an extension because Scott Boras is his agent and would not entertain any contract talks until free agency. It just shows you that Royce knows he's washed up and is wanting an extension to collect on all that free money. If Royce is only concerned about money it will only continue to get worse for him. The smart thing would be to trade him if they could get a decent return. He's clearly not a team player with his unwillingness to work on his swing now.
  22. The simplest and most horrible thing is that they will still be owning this team until some time in 2027. That would be the earliest they would sell the team.
