  1. They do. And it is a bummer for them when he is wrong. side trek: I still can't figure out why Appel can't pitch. He had it ALL in college.
  2. Seriously? Being wrong sometimes makes you greedy or bad at your job? You really think his agency only represents or helps the elite?
  3. Three teams picking a second time before the Twins.... Don't get cute, draft the best player.
  4. I like Wade more than Rosario. No way I am trading him right now. Well, almost no way.
  5. That's probably where I fall, but it depends on any offers.
  6. Well, we maybe have a different sense of humor. Auto corrects happen here A LOT, and people laugh about them occasionally. The reason I found this one that way was, as pointed out, that Seth would NEVER type that about someone. Ever. It was so ridiculously out of character, that it made me laugh. But, as our moderator friend points out, I can see how that could be misconstrued, and it certainly wasn't my intent to offend anyone.
  7. Maybe Seth hasn't been here. And, it was an auto correct, they happen all the time. Also, you can only edit your posts for 1 hour, so it's too late now. No one thinks he's a hoodlum, or bad person, least of all Seth. And, if you think some of us are, I don't know, whatever, you don't know us at all. It was clearly an innocent mistake. Wow. I had hoped that by quoting it, Seth would see that, since you get notified on quotes. Alas, he did not. Again, wow. Judge simple mistakes much?
  8. Let's hope we do after mid-June of this year, that can be up some time next year!
  9. Which is why I argue to call them up earlier, as you know....
  10. Jacque Jones 4:03 What are your thoughts on Nick Gordon after some time in the minors, compared to at draft time, etc? Should Twins fans be excited? Keith Law 4:03 Yes. He's a damn good player. He'll produce, and he'll be one of those players you want to argue is worth even more than the stats say.
  11. True. I just think people keep forgetting he isn't young, and it can't go forever. I'm not saying I'd deal him for anyone, and I don't think I trade him off if they are still in first, but the future goes past 2018/9....
  12. We don't agree on ESan, he's in his mid 30s.....it will fall off.
  13. And Santana will be older. Agreed, figure out what you might have.
  14. Listing anecdotes w/o looking at other teams does what? Clearly limiting pitch counts for RPs doesn't work, since the Twins have lots of injured minor league RPs......
  15. do they? I mean, I literally have no idea what injury rates are by team, compared to other teams.
  16. I agree, that's his most likely outcome, but I'd certainly be willing to see if he can start for now.
  17. didn't you just agree with me, in the post above this? Maybe A LOT was an exaggeration....maybe.
  18. From whom? When? All I read is that scouts think he can stay there, not be elite, but be good.
  19. Deep, but lacking high upside. That's what we've been reading all year, and with the dropoff of RPs' health, it's even more true.
  20. That would be a huge jump up the lists. I'm going with around 25 or so, which is still a HUGE jump.
