    I'd forgotten about this (projections, not sure if they've done one where you see the actuals): http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/how-the-teams-were-built/ sort by trades, not pretty......note that while they have 15 drafted players in 2016, those 15 account for only 12.5 WAR (that's not a great ratio, btw).

    Really not a fan of platooning a 22/3 year old, in his first full season, on a losing team. Really not a fan. How many games has he sat?

    Huh, I had no idea no one developed their own starters. Where do they all come from? Trades? We'll agree they've utterly failed at trades lately. How can you see rosters and how players were acquired?

    Most teams have their best SP they developed internally be Kyle Gibson? He's pretty much been the only SP to last more than 2 years in, what, the last 5+ years?

    Tenth Avenue Freeze Out: could be titled: If you've never heard Springsteen, this is Springsteen. And yet, I almost like this one. I think it's the nearly, but not quite, bluesy aspect. Streets of Philadelphia: You don't hear an opening like this for most of his songs....nice. Trying hard to be a poet on this one, and it works, I think. apparently I like the simple songs. Ok, gotta work again.....

    Hungry Heart: the pablum Springsteen, seems like it should be good, but it's empty. Thunder Road: Always liked the lyrics on this one. I even like how the singing starts on this version. I'm guessing the yelling starts soon...... Solid song. Not great, but solid.

    Dancing in the Dark: this song always bored me. Pretty soon, all of this album will be done, and we'll move on..... Looks like Secret Garden and Rosalita are next.... Secret Garden: Did I know this song? Feels like I should. I like this one. I might have to save this one. Rosalita: Strong opening, but too much like some of his songs. A bit of the yelling style, but not like his later music. There is still some singing here. But, you know right away it is a SPRINGSTEEN SONG, which doesn't help me love it. Biases and all... It's too LONG! seven minutes? Only a classical movement should be this long. Will it ever end? What's with this organ thing in the middle as the bridge? Or is it a guitar only on the high strings? For some reason I can't get XRAY lyrics for this one, but I do like the lyrics. Ah, now we are in full on YELLING STYLE in the 2nd half. A good song, ruined by being too long and too much yelling. Not sure I can make it 90 seconds more, but for you, I will.....

    Song 2: I'm on Fire. I should like this. It has everything I usually like in a song. Maybe I've heard it too much, but "meh" is my review. Glory days: So, apparently PRIME is playing THE HITS for me.....this song has always seemed like a rip off of songs from the 70s to me. Born in the USA: As I said, I love that this song sounds right wing, but is really left wing. I think what I don't like is that this personifies his "yelling" style of singing. Having now listened to 4 songs, I think that's it.

    Using PRIME music, it's all Bruce. First song: Born to Run. It's good a good hook, and good guitar lines. I actually kind of like this one up to the bridge, then I lose interest for some reason. Expect too many reports, maybe even song by song.

    Somehow I missed that season three of Mozart in the Jungle was out. We binged it the last couple days. No high brow stuff, not the funniest, but somehow we are entertained by it. Good popcorn show, and very short episodes to boot. And, some great music (just try not to get too hung up on the acting as players or conductors).
