  1. Whomever they pick in round one next year will be their top prospect in 2024, if Lee isn't one.
  2. Yes, yes people think a team should have seven MLB quality OFers in their system. At least that's what the posts read like.
  3. We have people calling him names over and over. We have multiple threads saying he's stupid, doesn't care, only follows spreadsheets. What, exactly, would you like the shorthand to be? The team didn't quit, despite what we read on this site about them not having heart.
  4. I admit to agreeing with you here. But then, they would be vast underdogs because of their record anyway.
  5. Fangraphs just did a study on this. What matters is your overall record. You are no more likely to win or lose in the post season if you were better or worse against the best teams.
  6. 20 pitchers pitched that much last year......if he pitches that many innings any year it will be a miracle (not because of the FO, but because he's not an ace type).
  7. He's a legit number 3 starter. Great trade.
  8. Maybe compare them to other catchers, not league wide numbers? I'm baffled at this analysis, frankly.
  9. Truth. All of that was amassed early, though. Imagine if he was healthy on that pace.....hence an honorable mention that it is bad he's not. Like, 1-2 wins bad (not Pagan bad, though).
  10. Bundy is the most under appreciated on this site for sure. He has more starts with 3 or less runs given up than more, and it isn't close.
  11. I'd give Pagan all five spots if possible. I don't get how three years of being BAD at your job allows you to stay on the team because you have "stuff". Buxton could be an honorable mention, frankly. Outside the start of the year, they've gotten little to nothing from him
  12. I'm not sure why Sisk isn't on the Twins. Congrats to all these players for a great month.
  13. Judge is going to hit around 65 home runs, and people are blaming the pitchers. I don't get why Pagan is on this roster. It's indefensible. He's been terrible for three years.
  14. Duran should face the best hitters, in the 8th or 9th.
  15. That's not what regression to the mean means. It means he drops to his normal level of play, not below it to get his overall numbers to the mean. That said? I'd guess he's a bit tired at this point.
  16. Your post doesn't fit the narrative. It is accurate, though. So thank you. They literally took a guy they drafted when? And he looks like a legit prospect? And people post negative things, still. Thank you for posting some actual information.
  17. I'd have preferred the unknown risk with Sisk. But then, Pagan is still somehow on this roster, so it's clear the FO and I don't agree on the bullpen.
  18. Proving he's certainly not underrated.....
  19. I keep wondering if Balazovich is in his head, like Rick Ankiel. Martin is the biggest bummer for me. I really thought he was Arraez with speed and defense. I hope he goes back to getting hits and stops thinking about power.
  20. And SWR. They don't need a veteran forth or fifth starter next year. That said, it depends on health. They might sign a placeholder. They do need Pagan off this roster. Sigh.
