    You could be right....and you have good facts. So far this year, ZERO top 100 prospects have moved (likely changing with Sherzer and Berrios....but I think most here will be disappointed, and wrong to be so, about the return).

    Ryan Pepiot and Andy Pages and a 40 value guy for Berrios......Pages bats R and is only 20ish in A ball. I'd prefer a SS, but Pages looks legit and they Twins could use a righty OF who can also actually field.

    Also, not in love with the Phillies prospects......they'd have to include 2 of their top 5 for me to even think about it.

    If there is really this much interest, we'll be waiting until tomorrow for either Berrios or Pineda to go, imo. They'll want to extract maximum value....

    I'll be disappointed if they deal both Maeda and Berrios. Very. I'll be most disappointed if they don't deal the expiring contract of Pineda.

    I think that's a fair stance, actually.....I don't agree, but I'm guessing there that they can't get that. I just think people don't realize how teams just don't deal top prospects anymore. Way too valuable.

    around 75 I'd guess. His defense is still a question for sure.

    100% this. As I said in the preview thread for them, LA is loaded with guys in the 45-50 scouting grade range, the Twins should get 2 of those and another guy for Berrios. Teams just DON'T deal their best young players anymore.

    that was in the post he quoted..... Nick Anderson is the biggest fail for me...... Every team passed on Miranda this year, right? Every single GM was wrong about him, it appears....

    Zero of BA's top 100 prospects have been traded so far.....teams hoard top guys. HOARD them. The world is a different place than it was.... I think the Twins get 1 top 100 guy and 2 guys in the next 50-100 for Berrios (from the Dodgers or Sea or Tor)

    the Dodgers are LOADED with guys in the 45-50 scouting range. If I'm the Twins, I want 3 of those (2 pitchers and a SS or CF) for Berrios, or 2 for Pineda and a minor leaguer going back..... I can't see the Dodgers dealing any of their top 3-4 prospects..... For Berrios: Ryan Pepiot Jacob Amaya random guy in the 40 range who is a pitcher....

    That would shock me. Teams just don't deal their top prospects anymore, let alone two of them. I'd 100% do that deal if I was the Twins, which makes me think it is even less likely to happen...... I wanted Gore in that draft, but he can't throw strikes right now, so he's probably not really #5 in that system at this point......he's the ultimate high risk / high reward guy.....

    I think Sherzer is better....but Berrios is cheaper AND signed thru next year....that's a big delta for a team giving up good to great prospects (which teams seem very reticent to do anymore). But, if I'm going for it, I want Max more. If I'm more aiming for the next two years, I want Jose more.

    I know teams don't trade top prospects anymore, but if you don't get Jeter Downs, I have no interest in sending Berrios to the Red Sox. None.
