    That's an overpay for Detmers. Get a medium prospect added, and it's likely fair. I'd not do this, but if I'm forced to be a buyer, then I'd do this. If you are forced to be a buyer, Arraez makes sense, and that level prospect seems about right. Move Clemens to first, deal Lewis for a RP, again, if I'm forced to be a buyer. I'd likely propose something similar if I'm forced to be a buyer. Well done.

    Sloan is number ten overall for fangraphs..... I'd be shocked if the Twins could get him. Jeffers, any OF prospect not named Jenkins or Tait, and Quick or Hill or Soto? Maybe that does it?

    I mean, if we know the prospects won't turn out ahead of time, of course we aren't making the trade. I'm not sure your point? Every decision involves risk, the question is, knowing what you know now about this year and next, and beyond, what to do. Ryan could get hurt. He could return another Ryan who pitches in Minnesota for five or more years?

    Hartman is much higher rated than EmRod, by fangraphs anyway. I'm not in love with that deal, as Caminiti makes me nervous....I just don't see a good match with Atlanta for Ryan, for me anyway. Atlanta would have to put a lot of guys in there, since I don't live Caminiti.

    To be clear, I want to trade Jeffers for the AA pitching prospect....the money is a bonus. I haven't looked at FAs....but that AA pitcher is worth more than Jeffers for 1 year.

    This. If you can get a 50 value prospect in AA, deal him. If not? I guess you give him the rest of this year. And I'm 100 percent not a believer.... My issue with keeping him? He's not that good, but you refuse to move on because they took him 1 overall.
