When you watch only highlights, you can see why some people really like McCarthy. He has an arm, and good legs.

This gets to my point. You want to be a head coach? You gotta take what's there. There aren't many jobs, and most great or even really good orgs aren't looking for them.

I thought that was me? I hope he played like this against teams not starting backups. I think he will. I liked that pick a lot, but he was bad, bad, last year and not good to start this year. We'll see. Hoping he continues on this trajectory.

You have seen this team and how they use veterans, and keep them around, right? I was responding to a post saying he'd be in St Paul..... If he is, he'll play. But I think they think he'll be in Minnesota....

Over on footballs future, many are predicting Kirk comes back. How would that work? Because JJ is benched fast if he struggles and Kirk is in Minnesota.

He can block Culpeper and schobel in St Paul. Plus, people here are saying he'll be the utility guy in Minnesota.
