    I'm not sure how I feel. He's hurt as often as Lewis, and will be expensive in prospects. Could be awesome, could be a huge mistake.

    You have any evidence batting order matters to a hitter? I don't. I can't find any. Pick a position? He's the every day first baseman, and not all that good a hitter for the position. He has one good year in coming up on 4 now.

    People are questioning the Jax trade? Unreal. Even the Duran trade looks like it will work out, to me. Never liked the Louie deal.

    I'd happily do Hill or Soto and any hitting prospect not named Jenkins, Culpepper, Houston. Heck, I'd do any two hitters and one of those pitchers for Detmers and a RP. I'd even consider both those pitchers and one hitter for him and a RP.

    FAir. What was Detmers last year and the year before? I just have zero interest in trading 5-6 years of Priellip at all. Dude is very good at his job. And, I think 28-30 are the years I'm aiming for......but I get not everyone agrees.

    I think offense is the biggest need. I'm not sure how to fix that, though. First base and SS are the biggest possibilities. Culpeper is ready or almost, so he'll be up in three or so weeks. That leaves first. Maybe right field or left field. I'd probably trade Bell, move Trevor to DH and put Jenkins or Roden or GG in left. But I didn't think that fixed things enough. I'd also consider a 2b and move Clemens to first. Can't be hard to outhit Lewis. Definitely, if they are buying, a mid level prosprctt for a RP is happening.

    Preilip is a better pitcher than Detmers and controlled for six years. This is a bad idea. Truly awful. I'd do a hitting prospect, not account the big three, and Hill or Soto for Detmers and a flyer RP type.

    Ya, stats don't say this is the best O at all.....they just scored more runs than others. But the stats weren't great. But, you know, only RBI are predictive.....
