  1. I could care less if they are at AAA. Below AA? Sure. I also have doubts this is real.
  2. Caratinis game so far shows how hard it is to judge value. If a guy hit .667, we'd name stuff after him, but he significantly decreased their odds of winning with two men on.
  3. A friend is at the game. He always moves to nicer seats. Just got kicked out of a seat behind home for the second time this year.
  4. If anyone else wants Bell, they can have him. Yes, I'm typing this before he bats.
  5. Ya...... Martin was never close to Arias in rank. Not even close. Plus, that's a fair trade.... It just didn't work for Minnesota.
  6. Great start by a very young player! The offense is gone. Alas.
  7. Are they platooning Keaschell? Really? Or just resting him?
  8. And? At some point, you have to plan on prospects. YMMV, but I feel good about the guys I mentioned. Feel free to not.
  9. Also, I'm good with Lee or Clemens being replaced by Houston/Culpeper..... I feel pretty good about 27/28 and beyond hitting/fielding wise......
  10. I count three point five hitter/fielder types I want on the roster next year.......I can't get behind buying this year. I look forward to Jenkins and Culpepper being two more next year. That still leaves RF, 1B, DH and C (feeling good about that in 28 and beyond).
  11. For what? He is hurt and not pitching well? For what? They had the chance last year, and last offseason, to get max value....
  12. Not to mention Arias.....who was a top 10 talent......which would mean they could deal Houston or Culpepper for a big time player or three....
  13. My argument is that they didn't do nothing to replace Bader: Roden, Outman, and EmRod were all part of the plan, even if it hasn't turned out. They replaced Castro with Clemens (Castro would be planned to be utility if he was still here), and replace CC with Bell. Two of the three of those have turned out better for the TWins than if they had kept Castro and CC..... They didn't do much else this offseason, but I'm curious what people expected? They weren't bringing in an OFer, or a SS or a 3B or a 2B. They brought in a DH and C. That leaves 1B and RP (they weren't bringing n a difference making SP with this budget). What 1B did y'all expect them to sign or trade for? RP? Yes, I'd have brought in two guys, and converted Morris sooner.....
  14. Brutal if true. This team would be so much better off with that deal. I doubt you can get Tolle straight up for Ryan right now.
  15. Fair. One of those guys was actually here past last year, which is what I thought you meant, that it was gutted for this year? But if you meant for last year, yes.
  16. This is a realistic deal I would consider. Not necessarily Love.... Because I really want a better pitcher back.
