  1. Other teams bring up good like Culpeper all the time. I strongly disagree he can't be up next year.
  2. I like Lee on defense at third, and he needs, imo, less change to concentrate on hitting. But I'd be ok either way My guess is that by the time this team is good, Lewis is traded anyway.... So I'm not sure it matters.
  3. What year? 😁
  4. THIS! This is not a SB winning team....learn about McCarthy (though I also want to know if KOC can call a better game, so that's a conflict).
  5. I agree....but I want an elite (college) arm. You need 5 of them....
  6. No on Fedko and Rosario. Yes to your obvious six. I am now unsure on Klein. I'd like them to consolidate some of these 40-45 FV guys into a catcher prospect.... Or some high upside bullpen arms. But I don't see how that happens.
  7. Ikf played when the starter was hurt. Put up negative fwar during that time. How will that help?
  8. do the Twins have three hall of fame players to pair with them? Plus other stars? Because even if they sign them, it's for a year or two....
  9. I expected him to play poorly this year. Not this poorly, but not great either. We'll know more at the end of the year.
  10. And the rest of the team is all veterans, so the match is terrible.
  11. I didn't have the information they do.... But given what I have, I put Lewis at first, Culpeper short, Lee third. And just roll with it all year. But I don't think that's your actual question. I think defense matters. Moving Lee and Culpeper around won't help that at all. I see no good path to a good shortstop by moving Culpeper to second or third two days a week. I pick the guys I believe in, and play them most every day.
  12. Because teams play veterans that aren't good all the time. They have to get rid of the veteran to even get playing time.
  13. True, but they have texts.... So good luck to him..
  14. Taylor has definitely held that team back. On a different topic.... We signed two Indy players who aren't as good for us, they signed our guys who are better for them.... There a coaching issue or several here. In fairness, one is hurt for us....
  15. Good point !
  16. Lasted longer than I thought, even.
  17. The line is bad. But it's not just that.
  18. I was so happy when my son quit playing. It's hard to understand why anyone who can, still let's their kids play this sport. Dudes are too big and strong for they body.
  19. This. They stuck with altuve and let him play. They didn't block him with a mediocre veteran. They didn't lose patience and bench him. They did the opposite of what the Twins do.
  20. Tyler Slough outplaying McCarthy.....
  21. Look at the NBA poker stuff..... Those guys are super rich. It's never enough for rich people. They always need more. Always.
  22. Definitely real problems here.
  23. Not out of left field. I was told Turner would get better with more reps. As you said McCarthy would.
