    Nothing about that screams too many lefties on the roster. Yet people keep repeating this.... The issue is they just don't hit will enough in general, right or left handed. Or switching.

    mike Could Roden play first for the Twins? He can't be as bad as Clemens......(ok, he can, but at least there is upside) Brendan Gawlowski I don't think you want his bat at first Brendan is a former scout employed by Fangraphs.....

    I'm not mad at any of them. It's sports. I'm annoyed with the commentary on this site over "empty" home runs early in games....

    For me, it is a response to the hate (and it is hate) he gets on this site......I'm fairly indifferent to him long term. Short term? He should be on this team to see if he can hit like he did a couple years ago (since they aren't winning anything this year, and he's cheap).

    I can't imagine most fans care about team identity. They want winners. Also, the lineup is almost exactly the same as last year, and three starting pitchers have been here multiple years, so I'm not sure I understand?

    That's a depressingly accurate write up. I remain baffled at this off season, nearly every decision seemed wrong, and so far, I am sadly correct. Actually, I'm looking naively over confident! Sigh.

    None of that is good. None of that makes him awful either. If you expect him to get a hit all the time, good luck. He's not hitting well though right now, but the criticism is over the top. People here say he only hits one run homers.... It's hard to do better if there is rarely anyone on base in front of him. Yes, he was truly bad last year in late and close situations, but he's given the Twins the lead twice this year, iirc. It's not his fault no one else hit yesterday.

    Wallner with only one RBI again. Totally his fault. SWR is a legit number four pitcher, unfortunately, the Twins are hitting like many of us is feared, and the bullpen stinks, as expected.

    Sure, life saving places and jails.... And not all the lights and outlets are on in those places. A stadium is for entertainment. We're clearly going to disagree. Can you name one stadium set up to play if there is no power?

    Who's your catcher after they trade Jeffers, or next year? This isn't just about this year. It's a fine signing. The bell and Larnach signings were not.
