    The owner will not let them trade Jeffers. No way. Bell is killing this team, after carrying them. I'd move on, put Larnach at DH, and call up Emma. I think they refuse to call up Jenkins or Culpeper until mid August, or not at all this year. Nick, I appreciate these weekly write-ups. Thanks.

    That's fine, but then they need to be sellers this year. Because you can't claim to be trying to win, and not call up Jenkins or Culpeper.

    Well, I agree. The Brewers have the best record, and they are doing what? Tampa traded for a guy whose been terrible this year. Detroit waved the white flag, which might be the right idea, but now it's over for them this year. The other teams could have made this trade, but didn't.

    To be clear, people make mistakes. It's not the end of the world. But people here keep excusing his awful hitting, and mediocre fielding.

    Way more early trades this year than normal. I wonder why. Not a huge Peralta fan, but he could turn it around. White Sox? I love them getting Castillo and paying so the money.
