Well, one thing we have seen several times this season, is an absolutely dormant offense in the deep freeze for 7 innings, and they suddenly wake up in the 8th. At this stage, it’s really up to the pitching to keep them in the game for a few more innings.

+1 i have been thinking the same thing. Other than the brushback to Alvarez in the first, there doesn’t seem to be a plan of attack tonight, as far as how to pitch to these guys, granted they are top tier lineup
