    It just seems that the Twin's coaching staff did not do a good job with him. He needed to lose weight and get in better shape, but isn't that what coaches are supposed to help with? Just not impressed with the Twin's coaching staff from Rocco on down.

    It doesn't appear that the Twins have many players that other teams would want except for a couple of starting pitchers. Twins need leadership or this season is over.

    The biggest thing the Twins lack is leadership. They can't change all the players, but they can change team leadership. If they wait too long the season will be over. Rocco just doesn't have a feel for the game and needs to be replaced now, but that will probably not happen. Hard to be a Twin's fan when they are playing so poorly. Players are making mistakes that should not happen at this level of play and that will not change without a change in leadership. Even good starting pitchers can not pitch a shutout every game.

    Guess the only bright side of the poor record is maybe Rocco will be replaced with a manager that knows baseball. I really wish we would have kept Paul as manager and think we would have been a better team this year and past several years. Rocco took Paul's team and won games during past several years.

    Varland just doesn't look like he can pitch in the majors. Send him down so we don't keep over using the bullpen. He has no out pitch and his control is poor. He walks 3 batters in first inning. After the first inning the game was over with him pitching. Twins management looks like they can not judge talent. Terry Ryan was a person who could judge talent, but it appears the Twins have no one like him.

    Twins should win this game and if they don't it will continue to a really bad April.

    Just did not understand why Rocco had Farmer pinch hit? I think Farmer has had just 1 hit this season. Farmer was up again in a later inning and had a strikeout in a key at bat. I certainly would rather have a good hitter at bat than Farmer with just 1 hit this season. It was a good day for the Twins and the rookie pitcher really pitched a good game so gets hope he can continue pitching well.

    Maybe the best pitched game of the season. The rookie really pitched well and certainly should get more starts..

    The way they have been playing they are not going to regain much respect. I know it is early in the season, but as days go by they keep playing bad baseball and do not know when they will improve.

    I am concerned about Wallner. Last year I was on his band wagon and wondered why they did not call him up sooner. Maybe the pitchers have figured out how to pitch to him, but he has really looked bad this season. I know it is still very early in the season, but is not getting any hits and has too many strikeouts. So far the 2 corner outfielders are not helping the Twins win games.

    WOW Ricco certainly doesn't over manage! He just doesn't manage and doesn't have his batters move runners over. It doesn't appear he has a game plan and certainly never adjusts his game plan. Rocco will never change how he manages game. Swing for the fence and strikeout is his game plan even if he doesn't have players that are home run hitters. Who in his lineup is a real home run hitter? The answer is "NO ONE".

    Have been a fan of Wallner, but he looks lost when batting this year. Guess pitchers have found his weakness since just can not get a hit this year.

    No team will win many games with 15 strikeouts. It will be a long year if Twin's batters keep striking out so often. I know Rocco doesn't know what a bunt is or how to have his batters move runners over. Look back on the good old days when we had a manager who knew how to manage games. Wish we had kept Paul a few more years as manager since he knew how to play winning baseball. I think we all keep hoping Rocco will improve, but just do not think that will happen. We could have had at least 2 more runs if we had batters move runners over.

    We ay need batting help since Wallner has looked really bad this Spring.

    I am concerned about how poorly Wallner has hit this spring. He is just not getting any hits and the Twins need an outfielder that can hit. I was a big fan of his last year, but surprised that he is just not getting many hits.

    It just doesn't make sense to have him in lead off spot, but many of Rocco's moves do not make sense.

    It doesn't appear the Twins need a starting pitcher to pitch 200+ inning since with Rocco as manager no pitcher will ever get that chance. The bullpen will decide if the Twins have a winning season or losing season since Rocco uses 3 or 4 RP every game. Jack Morris would never have had a chance to win game 7 of World Series if Rocco was manager. Twins fans need to hope bullpen pitches well in 2024 since it appears Rocco will never change on how he manages starting pitchers.

    Miller just can not hit so he would never make it in the majors, plus we have several better future SS that can help the Twins.

    I think over in wins if Rocco learns to handle pitchers better. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Rocco would have been manager when Jack Morris was pitching game in World Series and was going to refuse to come out of game, but Rocco would probably have pulled him in the 6th inning.

    I think Lee is a better choice than either of these 3 players and will be called up sometimes during this season. Young players are the future for the Twins and it seems they have some young players that will help them win games for many years in the future.

    It looks like we are going to have another season of Rocco leading the Twins to keep hitting into double plays. The Twins had runners one first and second with no outs, but didn't score a run due to double play. Rocco will just never learn to have his players move runners over. I think there were at least 6 games the Twins would have won last year with one bunt to move runners over. I guess his computer tells him not to bunt runners over, but most winning teams bunt runners over to reduce double plays and to score more runs. Really hard to be a Twin's fan with Rocco as manager.

    Young players are the key to teams winning and not overpaid players whose best years are behind them. Players that Boras has are usually over the hill and overpaid. Hard to understand why owners sign these players to long term contracts and then have to pay them long after they can not perform.

    I always assumed that 1st base was easy to play so have the best player who can hit playing 1st base. Most teams have a good hitter play 1st base and that should decide who the Twins play at 1st base.

    Boras is a A--hole and has ruined baseball. He gets too many teams to overpay players and the teams have to raise ticket prices so many people do not go to games.
