  1. Cleveland & Chicago are within 4 games right now. Another bad week and they'll pass us.
  2. I think leaving NY gives a player a fresh start without all of the pressure and scrutiny.
  3. He's been a great clubhouse guy from everything I've heard.
  4. Hopefully the Sano experiment has come to an end. Sending him for a rehab assignment when he comes back that lasts the rest of the season would be great?
  5. Even healthy he wasn't too great last season. A .229 OBP is less than ideal.
  6. After dealing Garver, I'm glad the Twins catching options aren't Jeffers and Rortvedt. There wouldn't be much production from the plate.
  7. That loss would have been worse than the Seattle loss and KC loss since the lead was bigger and against a better team.
  8. This is the reason I like Arraez so much, he looks where a hole may be and tries to hit it that way instead of swinging for the fences. The homeruns I've seen him hit looked like they surprised him as much as it surprised those watching.
  9. I did not expect a 2 homerun game from him Friday, but it was great to see.
  10. Agree, he's actually started playing better so IMO I think we let him start the series with NY and go from there.
  11. He's been playing better, let's see how he does against the NYY then make the decision.
  12. Who would have thought we would have an embarrassment of depth after last season?
  13. He provides depth in tbe outfield, first base and DH, I'm sure he will get opportunities to play at all 3.
  14. It seems like they may be forced to, I think they have better options right now who may be more consistent in those high pressure situations.
  15. It seems like every day there is a new guy who comes up big, whether with a clutch hit or shutting down the opponents lineup.
  16. Agree with you, Arraez needs to be in the lineup everyday. Polanco's numbers have been down and hasn't been sharp defensively, Gio has been great and should be in the conversation.
  17. Your questions are absolutely valid and most of them are exactly what many of us are thinking, for me the Jax move made no sense.
  18. With Megill, Pagan, and Thielbar coming back i think they could have stretched him a little more. But we got the W and thats the most important thing.
  19. What's scary is that 5 runs isn't a big enough cushion to feel like the bullpen won't blow it.
  20. I'm of the opinion and maybe among the minority that Jax should have came in for one more inning since he got through on 9 pitches.
