    Well said...I don't think a realistic fan is saying lets have a payroll of $200,000 on a year to year basis. However, there is NO reason it shouldn't be in the $160,000,000 range. That is not asking too much of ownership. WIN TWINS!

    Adhere to a strict 'walls are not my friend mindset'...they will hurt me! If he could log 125-130 games in CF with that mindset I think the other #'s take care of themselves. Certainly understand he isn't wired like that but I believe its got to be that way. WIN TWINS!

    While Soler appears to be a great fit, the Twins still have to find a way to make it work. According to our best info, the Twins have about $11 million available in the budget that they’re willing to spend, as they are expected to lower the payroll from previous years. As mentioned, Soler could cost around $15 million per season, though it might be too late in the offseason for him to get any more than that or to find that third or fourth year he's been seeking. The Twins will either have to shed more payroll or get creative with the potential contract to get a deal done. BS on the payroll...with the success we had last year in the postseason that hadn't been since 2004 this is absurd! Keep the payroll in the 150 mill range win the division again/advance and you make it all back no problem...there will be a tv deal of some sort in '24. This is why some fans get so frustrated with ownership. They seem to be animate about how 'this is a business'...well invest in your business to get results...results will yield more revenue! No one has the expectation of 200 mill payroll but there is and should be of 150 or slightly higher if need be. WIN TWINS!

    3yrs/$60,000,000...20/yr....lots of zeroes...definition of 'fair' could be interpreted different ways to be certain. I dont see the Twins going any higher than that. Rumors going around St. Louis is VERY interested in him. We shall see. WIN TWINS!

    I had a bag phone in '95 also...60 minutes/$40 per month...I even went with the antenna on top of the trunk of my '86 Chevy Celebrity (1st car my Granpa purchased at a farm auction for $300). It was a car and I was happy!

    I was there...Dome was ROCKING!!! Seems like forever ago because it was. I think they were gassed from the A'S series. I am old enough to remember '87 and obviously '91. That '02 team was so fun to watch. They had the bleep the baseball world mentality and we will show you!!! Lots of Moxy and confident players!!!
