    From a business perspective you would think further investment in the franchise on field and tv etc. would yield more success which would bring the price of the franchise up at time of sale...opposite of what they did.

    Well said...think of all the momentum you had with the fanbase if you are ownership...imagine if they said we are very close...we are willing up pony up more $$$ to get to where we think we can and should be. The increase in attendance etc. they goes with increased fan interest would have likely pd for the increase in payroll.

    Happy Friday all, Had ownership simply kept payroll where it was in '23 we wouldn't be having this conversation. A shame that didn't occur. As a fan I wasn't expecting a a $30,000,000 INCREASE, but I sure as heck wasn't expecting the DECREASE. Pretty simple in my opinion. Fan base did not deserve that. Will be interesting to see what happens with the team up for sale. WIN TWINS!

    On the penultimate game of the 2024 season, a fan brought an anti-Pohlad sign to the game. Yes, it was hostile and inflammatory... Spare me...what was hostile or inflammatory about it. Common interviewed him yesterday and it was quite interesting.

    Go 9-9 with 2 of those 9 being against and you SHOULD get in. Once you get in who knows...in my opinion they don't have the healthy arms to get it done. Would certainly be great to see Buck and Carlos back...would hope that occurs within a week to 10 days.

    TK had some garbage rosters in the late 90's. When he had talented rosters he won. Teams in '88 and '92 played very well following winning the World Series. That team in '01 was ascending bigtime when he stepped down. From a personality standpoint Gardy was a good fit with that '02 squad and the years to follow when they won the division back to back to back. Rocco like any manager has those who adore and those who think he is terrible. I will take TK for the win.

    100% YES...lights out as a reliever. He needs to face the facts that he is a relief picture. Not a bad way to make a living. Be proud of your accomplishments and park it out in the pen for the good of your team.

    Unfortunate ownership (but predictable) didn't pay up to resign Gray. Rotation would be very formidable with him along with the current cast of characters.
