  1. What do they have to lose? Ideas: 1. Bring back SWR and put him in the bullpen. One solid inning Simeon, that's all we need. 2. Bring up Culpepper and install him at SS for the rest of the season. Show him you have confidence in him. Let him make mistakes and rebound. 3. Play Royce at 1B. Same reasoning as Culpepper. 4. Negotiate with Joe Ryan for long-term contract. 5. Negotiate with Ryan Jeffers for long-term contract. At least make the effort on Ryan and Jeffers. 6. Trade Josh Bell for whatever you can get. Thanks Josh. 7. Move Keaschall to LF, Martin to RF, Arcia at 2B and Larnach to DH. 8. Call up Gonzalez. LET'S GO!!!
  2. With that type of thinking, the Twins should have traded Frank Viola back in '84-'86 prior to the Twins winning the World Series. Sign the guy. You can still get him cheap for next year. I also believe the Twins can extend Pablo for another year or two on the cheap as well. I just wish the Front Office would try and win. Josh Bell and James Outman are not examples of the Front Office "trying". Signing a veteran reliever with a lifetime ERA over 5.00 is not "trying". Come on, at least try.
  3. According to Baseball Reference, the Twins have 13 players making $1.1 million or more. That leaves 13 players making league minimum (or so). If the players adopted the salcap and the owners increased the league minimum to $1.5M or better, wouldn't everyone benefit from that? Of the 780 players currently on the MLB rosters, only a handful are going to get that huge contract. Spreading the money around at the lower end would benefit more players than the current system. They really need to consider it.
  4. Pohlad better pull off a Herschel Walker trade or sign him long-term now.
  5. The Twins have failed to back up their talk over the last year. It’s time to start doing so when it comes to internally rebuilding the bullpen. Give the young guys a shot so we don’t wind up with this situation again in 2027. Wow. That really sums it all up. What a disappointment.
  6. Could rookies in the BP be any worse? There is a reason all of these relievers were released time and time again.
  7. Anthony Banda has pitched in 17 games totaling 15 IP. His ERA is 8.40. What's wrong with this picture?
  8. We need our starters to go as long as possible to keep the BP out of the game.
  9. No more bullpen! All starters must go nine!! This is terrible. You don't take castoffs and journeymen with 5.00+ ERA and expect them to succeed. We can't protect a lead. Awful BP. Just awful.
  10. Wallner K's 5X followed by Outman's 4X performance. They gotta make contact. Sincerely, Tired of Analytics
