  1. The Twins have so many young outfielders, move Buck to 1B. Let him play out his contract and retire. Hopefully he gets to 1,000 hits.
  2. If he leaves, we're stuck with Caratini for another year as the starter.
  3. Andrew Morris has a post All-star game ERA of 5.95. Sit the kid down.
  4. Play the rookies every day the rest of the season. Put Buck on IL. Bye-bye Larnach. Jenkins-ERod-Gonzo outfield.
  5. Buxton is the current face of the franchise. However, over he only has 100 hits in only 2 of 12 seasons. Over 100 games played in 3 of 12 seasons. He does not deserve to have his jersey retired. He does not deserve to be inducted into the Twins HoF either. The problem with the Twins HoF is they do not have any worthy former players to be inducted anymore. They inducted 5 the first year (Killebrew, Olivia, Carew, Puckett & Hrbek). If they would have only inducted one per year, we wouldn't have Corey Koskie in the HoF. Yes, they'll put Buck into the HoF, but the stats don't back him up. He's got two years left on his current contract, two championships would solidify his induction and jersey retirement.
  6. I had forgotten all about him. Thanks a lot Matthew Taylor
  7. Why are they considering trading him? Carantini has done alright while he was out. They think they may not need him. Maybe Carantini is the answer at C and Ryan can play another position.
  8. Jeffers is hot and producing at the plate. Maybe it's time to think about resigning him and finding him new position. First base anyone? DH/1B?
  9. Every kid's dream while playing wiffle ball in the backyard
  10. He's back? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Trade a prospect for Luis Arraez for every day 2B and leadoff or hit second. Playing great 2B this year.
  12. Don't trade Bell just for the sake of him being a FA DH. He's producing! He's also a reason we're winning. Same with Larnach. Makes no sense if we're winning and close. Larnach is under $6M, pocket change in today's MLB. Take the chance. Don't break up the core.
  13. Again, another game where our bullpen implodes and the hitters have to bail them out. Enough's enough. Still regretting the Varland trade? Glad Rhoden is being given a shot.
  14. 1. Look at what Varland is doing in Toronto. ERA 0.98 with 17 saves. Still don't understand why they traded him 2. Revamped IF and the guys in new positions are actually playing and hitting better. 3. Can't get a good look at starting pitching because someone is always getting hurt. There is a good feeling that these guys are going to get better. 4. I was against trading Jeffers, but he has been gone so long, and the backups are filling in nicely. See what you can get for him. 5. Bell has produced nicely. I know they are trading him no matter what, but hopefully we have a decent backup.
  15. I attended the game where Carl Pohlad signed the documents, buying the Twins in 1984. The stadium was full and excited. It was time. Time for a change. Everyone was tired of Calvin Griffth's cheap ways. It was refreshing. It's time again.
  16. Wow! After Saturday's outing, Justin Lawerence is fitting in nicely with the rest of the bullpen!
  17. Is Mickey Gasper still available? I mean, at this point, why not?
  18. How can you blow up something that was already blown up?
