    Why?

RBI's don't matter to today's stat nerds. Neither do wins for pitchers. Josh Bell deserved more than one vote.
  3. JBK
    Lighten up Francis
  4. JBK
The Varland trade last year still makes no sense
  5. JBK
Ober, Sands, Banda, Lewis, release. Bye.
  6. JBK
Did he grade on a curve? I wish he'd been my English literature professor in college. I'd have gotten an "A" instead of a "B-".

Keaschall needs to go to the Arizona Fall League with specific instructions to work on defense and his arm. You can't throw sidearm from RF. They made money with Bell. He outperformed expectations. Could be offense MVP. The OF is set for 2027. Buck should concentrate on 1B and DH. Save those legs.

    Kremer

You're just asking that question now?

    I love reading fiction
  11. JBK
    Hire him as hitting coach

Can the marketing team throw together a Kevin Slowery, Nick Blackburn & Scott Baker coffee mug giveaway night? That would be more interesting than this article was. Must be a slow day at Twins Daily.

We've been waiting years for Royce Lewis to do something. I think he's already peaked.
  14. JBK
The Twins "season" can no longer revolves around Byron. He needs to fit in where they need him to fit, whatever/wherever that is.
  15. JBK
Love Buck. But he's injury prone. Put him in position to succeed. DH. Corner OF once a week.
  16. JBK
The Twins have so many young outfielders, move Buck to 1B. Let him play out his contract and retire. Hopefully he gets to 1,000 hits.
  17. JBK
    He's a 100% improvement over Rocco.
  18. JBK
If he leaves, we're stuck with Caratini for another year as the starter.
  19. JBK
Andrew Morris has a post All-star game ERA of 5.95. Sit the kid down.
  20. JBK
Play the rookies every day the rest of the season. Put Buck on IL. Bye-bye Larnach. Jenkins-ERod-Gonzo outfield.
  21. JBK
He needs to learn how to throw from the outfield
  22. JBK
    I prefer game 163

Buxton is the current face of the franchise. However, over he only has 100 hits in only 2 of 12 seasons. Over 100 games played in 3 of 12 seasons. He does not deserve to have his jersey retired. He does not deserve to be inducted into the Twins HoF either. The problem with the Twins HoF is they do not have any worthy former players to be inducted anymore. They inducted 5 the first year (Killebrew, Olivia, Carew, Puckett & Hrbek). If they would have only inducted one per year, we wouldn't have Corey Koskie in the HoF. Yes, they'll put Buck into the HoF, but the stats don't back him up. He's got two years left on his current contract, two championships would solidify his induction and jersey retirement.
  24. JBK
I had forgotten all about him. Thanks a lot Matthew Taylor
  25. JBK
Why are they considering trading him? Carantini has done alright while he was out. They think they may not need him. Maybe Carantini is the answer at C and Ryan can play another position.
