    According to Baseball Reference, the Twins have 13 players making $1.1 million or more. That leaves 13 players making league minimum (or so). If the players adopted the salcap and the owners increased the league minimum to $1.5M or better, wouldn't everyone benefit from that? Of the 780 players currently on the MLB rosters, only a handful are going to get that huge contract. Spreading the money around at the lower end would benefit more players than the current system. They really need to consider it.

    The Twins have failed to back up their talk over the last year. It’s time to start doing so when it comes to internally rebuilding the bullpen. Give the young guys a shot so we don’t wind up with this situation again in 2027. Wow. That really sums it all up. What a disappointment.

    The Billy Beane-esque "anyone can play first base" mentality has not proven out practically for Minnesota, at least not since the days of Luis Arraez and Miguel Sanó. Even the Twins can't get this position right. Unbelievable. How many corner outfielders or 3B or catchers have transitioned to 1B and were great? Wallner is still in RF and they bag on him for his defense. Put the 6'4 guy over at 1B this Spring. Give him a shot. That opens up the outfield for one of those rookies everyone is raving about. Kody Clemens is a 6'0 target. He should be a 2B or as a UT. I'm glad Falvey is gone. A team made up of backups is going to get you a record that reflects it.

    First week of Spring Training, and they'll already throwing in the towel. Why not throw a confidence vote towards the starting rotation and keep going in a positive direction?
