Does anybody find it pertinent that of the hundreds of guys busted for PEDs they all had a story claiming to not have known? I think Andy Petite May have fessed up but that is it. To consider what they are saying as an excuse is silly
Like all the other guys that are busted, he’s lying. Isn’t it amazing that all the guys that are suspended have some unfortunate story about how it happened. He was cheating and got caught. Don’t buy the story of him or any other cheater
Cron has missed a couple of plays in the last few days that have cost us. More sloppy baseball by the Twins and it’s been like this for two months. I guess it is not changing
One thing about the game was another sub par fielding day. Odo got in trouble after Cron missed the foul pop followed by Areaz not getting a glove on two grounders within his reach. I believe Cave had another blinger as well. They have to play better in the field
They did just a few years ago when he started to go over his head. Before that he had a minimal windup. Thought it was odd at the time to make it more complicated
I don’t think it is “indisputable “ that Rocco has been great. The Twins have played some really sloppy baseball over the last two months and it doesn’t seem to be changing. That reflects on the manager to some degree. I don’t blame him for the bullpen issues any more than I blamed Molly. Falvine gave both managers bad bullpens-can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear
I think the Twins are going to have to get lucky with Hildenberger and o Rourke. Am fine giving Graterol a shot too. These are all long shots but this what the FO has left us with
The point is that if we are calling up unproven prospects fromAA as our go to plan then someone screwed up both last winter and at the trade deadline. I hope Graterol is the next Nolan Ryan but it wouldn’t be Plan A for me
None of our farm should be untouchable for the right trade. If Lewis isn’t going to stay at SS then I would trade him now. Graterol and Balazovic are the only two I would struggle to part with
I’m less worried about the schedule than I am about the Twins playing better. It’s been about a month of sloppy baseball and it seems to be getting worse.
The weak link in this article is that neither Falvey or Levine were the primary decision makers. We have no idea what their opinions were of the decisions.
