    i wouldnt want those 3 hits on my highlight reel....all three were weak hit balls.. but, looks like this kid has a bright future..Twins need it..hitting talent is very very over rated..Arraez and Miranda are real deals....after that just very avg MLers

    i was only following this game on gamecast on MLB..why did Baldelli pinch hit Garlick against a righty for Gordon. Gordon has been hitting very well lately..and Garlick was brought back to hit against lefties????? of course Garlick looked at strike 3.

    according to the rules both runners should be safe in the Twins and Pirates games..both catchers were straddling the plate prior to the ball getting there..just what the rule is for

    hated to lose Steer ..and Strand....but, all others wont matter one bit. Glad we didnt have to part with Miranda, Kiriloff, Wallner or Lewis. We now have a pretty good top 3 rotation and a bonifide closer. and i'd trust Fullmer over Duffy and Jax. Over all , id give the trade deadline deals an A

    as long as this doesnt mess with Arraez being in the lineup 9 out of 10 games- no matter if its a lefty or righty starting. this team goes as he goes. I think this is a big mistake...i feel Urshela has played very well....and Miranda needs his AB's..ditto for Kiriloff. Baldelli has to figure out a way to keep these 4 playing...and i'll be screaming the 1st game Sano k's 3 out of 4 times.

    umpire should be reading the pitch as it passes the plate..not once it hits the glove..Sooo, how can "framing" influence an umpire....hmmmmm...SMH

    my God...not even close.....Urshela over Sano by a landslide. Urshela has played GREAT this year..and it seems no one is noticing. Arraez has been our MVP...Correa and Buxton following ( and just my opinion ..no one hitting .218 should ever make an All star team ). There is no room for Sano this year with Kiriloff and Miranda picking it up...and Polanco back. Dont need a DH striking out 3 of 4 times per game..no thank you

    agreed ..this cant be the B lineup..this , to me, is a game you go all out to win..not just be happy with a series win.

    we will just have to agree to disagree....i've seen him throw..i'm looking for relievers that fool hitters...and miss bats ..maybe i'm wrong ..but i just dont see this in Him..

    thanks for the data... i dont get to see many games...just remember watching Jax as a starter..I just like to see flame throwing relievers that miss bats..Jax certainly is not that. Top teams have Bullpen guys that miss bats...at least they have no problem when playing us !! HaHa

    I just dont know how Jax is doing it...Does not have great stuff..reminds me of Stashak...once he's seen a few times he's gonna get blasted... I have zero trust in any of our Bullpen..maybe Duran..a little bit..no lead is ever safe when we go to the pen

    so true ..Twins just cant develop pitching.. they may get 3/4 caliber starters and spotty relievers...but never an Ace or shut down closer

    so confused on all the bashing of Ursela... along with Arraez he has been one of our top players this year. very nice addition this year id say. I do agree Miranda should be DH more often than Sanchez. Still sick of watching this entire lineup K so often

    twins just cant develop hard throwing miss bats relievers..the ones we are dancing back and forth from St Paul cant get AAA batters out -- Moran, Cotton, Cano, etc.. and no way are we winning the central with the likes of what we trot out there now..Duffy, Pagan, Duran, Jax, Theilbar and Smith.. none ....absolutely none of them can be trusted. I still Trust Ryan and Gray as starters..but Archer (NO), Bundy(NO)...horrible pitching staff.. BUT, they cant be blamed for the meat of order going down K K K in extras last nite..PATHETIC !!!

    sorry i call BS with framing.. the ump is supposed to call the pitch as it passes the plate..not where the catcher catches it. that's the way it has always been

    quit knocking on Arraez..i'm perfectly fine with him at 1st or DH..don't care if he doesn't knock it out of the park. what this team does too often is K....i'd rather have a guy up there batting .300 + than a guy batting .220 and hitting a HR every 20 AB's and K-ing 10 times.

    he's a rally killer with his constant K's. last nite..1st two batters on..takes called strike 3. He just can't pick up pitches.... this will be his last year as a Twin. So many twins with 30% K rate..sickening and Boooooring. Hopefully the next wave of players....Miranda....Martin...Lewis..Kiriloff.. etc will come up and lessen the K's...and push the next K machine.. Larnach ...to the bench

    has to be in the lineup every day..i personally would rather see him DH and sit Sano down..so sick of the automatic K from Sano.. he's a rally killer. Hopefully Kiriloff starts hitting so he can take over 1B...or Miranda if he takes off at AAA

    giving away Rooker doesnt matter..BUT, we now have no closer whatsoever.. At least Rogers was somewhat trustworthy. Now who closes??? there is no one to trust.. i havent seen Duran enough to judge..but IMO we have a very low rated bullpen..not enough guys that miss bats. Looks like if the Twins want a winning season they will have to be scoring 8 plus a game and hope we can hold opponent to 7 !!!

    sorry, but, Rortvedt will never be a #1 catcher in the bigs.. i say good riddance. Adding Story , Peneida + lefty starter would help..Gray, Ryan, Ober, Bundy?? + ? ... we have the hitting..but obviously pitching is still not up to beating the big boys
