  1. i just dont think we can rely on Wallner being any more than he is right now.. I still dont see him as a difference maker in the long run..certainly no where near production of Kepler. I still think Kiersey has more upside
  2. Twins will get hosed ..as usual.. there's not much high octane fuel in the Minors..i say dont give up any more top prospects.. they may only need 3-4 starters in playoffs anyway. Just go w what we got.. hard to admit..but, we dont have the team to beat O's or Yanks anyway..we cant even beat the Guardians
  3. still laughing at so called "experts" throwing Lee's name in to potential trade talks.. untouchable..you are darn right he is. Kid will be a Twin for next 10 years
  4. I don't see Wallner improving on the K's ...that ship has sailed..now Kiersey, could be a nice option in RF ???
  5. no no no to wallner ....until he cuts down on K's ..hes over 37% and only hitting .242. no help there at all. 2 guys ..obvious #1 is Lee..and then maybe Kiersey if an OF goes down
  6. nope.. just another K King... Twins need more guys that K less than 20% of the time not 30%+..
  7. the entire league needs many more Arraez type hitters that actually put the bat on the ball ..would be a much much enjoyable game to watch rather than the 30% KKings strutting up to the plate
  8. no no no to Wallner..the guy cant hit anything...I dont see him ever working it out. Probably Martin or Hellman
  9. another subject here..why are they throwing Varland tonight ?? in Lopez's spot? something wrong with Ryan? why bring a guy up that cant get thru 3 innings at AAA? this is like bringing up Drobnok..very disappointing that this team has no other pitcher ML ready...maybe give Festa a try ??
  10. dont believe there is any fear whatsoever.. Twins pitchers just live in the middle of the plate too much against good teams.. they just dont have swing and miss stuff...getting batters to chase out of the zone like twins hitter do .
  11. within 2 weeks he should be starting 2B in the Bigs..hopefully he gets it going
  12. knock it off ..Lee is not going anywhere. He is possibly a Face of the Franchise type player..and will be up in the Bigs this summer
  13. his problem ..as with all Minn pitchers is that they live in the middle of the plate.. no they dont walk many..but, they are just not too smart..such as throwing meatballs to the likes of Judge, Stanton..and grooving 0-2 count pitches. they believe their 92-93-94 mph fastballs will get misses..well, newsflash..they do not
  14. it amazes me when you see writing about a kid tearing up AA ball and he's hitting/slashing only .262.. that does not and will not translate into an MLB star..just another average MLB player that strikes out 30% of the time. Hoping he proves me wrong
  15. Twins pitchers live in the middle of the plate..and get hammered by good teams like the Yankees ..be smarter boys. You DO NOT give Judge the chance to beat you. Yes, you give him the unintentional walk..every time!!!!! High and tight and low and away on him and Stanton all game long. Twins hitters made Marcus Stroman look like an All Star..and yesterday was no better.
  16. i'd say his ceiling is avg # 4 starter...but right now he is certainly pitching better than Varland.. send him out next rotation
  17. i'd say his ceiling is an avg 4 starter.. but, right now he is Twins best option at #5 ..Varland has lost it
  18. i'd say his ceiling is an avg 4 starter.. but, right now he is Twins best option at #5 ..Varland has lost it
  19. i'd say his ceiling is an avg 4 starter.. but, right now he is Twins best option at #5 ..Varland has lost it
  20. well....as bad as it is...just be happy we didnt keep Ben Rortvelt..who couldnt hit .150
  21. inability to make contact with a baseball has put Major Cracks in Twins ability to score runs
