    I just dont see vast improvement from a year in AA(2027) .. then a year in AAA(2028).. hitting 95mph+ fastballs is not easy and pitch recognition doesnt come easy .. you either have it ..or you dont.. i just dont see guys that are K Kings moving up the ranks...ever become impactful Major leaguers..hopefully he proves me wrong

    get back to us when he gets that K ratio down to 20% or less... hes still young..time to learn...i see maybe 2-4 years more in the minors

    saw this game live yesterday in Pittsburgh. team was lifeless from the start. Buxton is only DHing and he needs a day off ??? This roster is full of AA/AAA ball players... and just lost 6 of 7 to mediocre teams in White Sox and Pitts. Unbelievable how they just kept flailing at simple breaking balls from Ashcroft. no pitch recognition at all..

    there is no reason whatsoever he's in the bigs. you dont get a roster spot when you cant hit .200 just for 9th inning defense

    could be as simple as a lighter bat?? the guy cant make contact w a simple fastball. i just dont see a career saving turnaround.. let him figure it out in AAA for entire year.. my vote would be get Culpepper up here and see what he can do.. it cannot be worse

    send him down to A ball to get some confidence..HaHaHa,,, but he'd probably still K at a 30% + rate . experiment over ..let him go

    agreed ...and Winokur, with a 42% K rate is in top 20 ..got news for yah ....if you are k-ing over 40% of the time in A ball.. the Bigs are not in your future

    send Lewis and Wallner down ...now! how much worse could Culpepper, Fedko, Rodriquez, heck bring Arcia up to play 3rd...just do something!!! ..sickening watching these guys flail away up here. At least it seems they have wizened up and are playing Martin every day ... just get Lewis and Wallner outa here NOW !!!!

    isnt it crazy in todays game that a prospect is considered ready for a promotion when hitting under .250 at AAA / what do you think he will do in the bigs ?? better?? i hardly think so

    i think Lee has been unfairly treated ..its really only his 3rd year?? i still believe he will become a .275 + hitter.. lord knows we need a lot more of them. so sick of all of our K Kings for past 5 years or so ... send Wallner down NOW !!!

    would someone please have the guts to get rid of wallner..play Martin in RF every day..and call up either Gonzales or Rodriquez..or even Fedko ..just get Wallner out the everyday lineup as well as DFA Outman

    wallner has flailed away two times already today .. time to get him outa here bring up Gonzales or Rodriquez NOW !!! the guy just cant pick up pitches..major liability in the lineup

    bring him up rt now ! even though he is a K machine 40% K ratio.. Wallner is no better and horrible in the field. this team needs a spark ..maybe Erod is it???

    not IMO . this is on Ryan. the guy is just too stubborn to think his 93 mph fastball can blow away hitters ..right down the pike !!! lives too much in the middle of the plate

    Wallner shouldnt be in the filed either ..unless he learned 1st base. put him at Dh and put more athletic players in RF

    giggest concern to me ....no closer?? ..and Topa ..why why why all he does is get shelled

    chances are Larnach and Wallner will continue to be their unproductive selves early and we get to see the youngsters up ASAP.....Rodriquez, Gonzales and Jenkins. If its gonna be a losing year ..might as well get the kids time up in the bigs
