  1. I will be cheering for the Vikings first time this year, I hope Mannion does very well; putting a rookie in to start would have been asinine at best.
  2. And most of the players that made that 100 win season possible are GONE!
  3. I hope Cousins goes out early the next game and the one game newbie performs magnificently. That may show Cousins he has to change, or leave.
  4. How many of the rookies do you think will be , I own the plate, one day, and gopher ball incompetent the next?
  5. Rooker showed how trusting Spring Training performance can bite you in the butt because you show you are NOT ready
  6. I am glad you agree with me.
  7. That is illogical beyond description.
  8. I am curious how do they adjust it for player size or batters jumping around while batting changing stance?
  9. Sadly the last year he hit 49 home runs it should have been 50, but one that the umpire called a ground rule double, because it was an arrow straight shot, the opposing fielder later said: "It never touched the ground."?
  10. Allen ein gesegnetes und frohes Weihnachtsfest.
  11. I was at the last Yankee game where Mickey Mantle played for the Yankees at Met Stadium. I got to see Mantle hit a solo home run and the Yankees led 1 to zip in the ninth with two outs and one on. Harmon had two strikes, then hits a massive home run to give the Twins a 2-1 victory; only time in my life I saw my Dad jump up and cheer, as was the whole stadium, best baseball memory ever.
  12. How hot his seat is depends on game attendance. Few show, he goes.
  13. 80-89 They will not have the early collapse high-lighted by Arraez throwing the ball into right field; plus if they have the same third , short-stop, second-base fielders their defense will be good and I am taking a chance of some top free agent signing as they did in 2019.
  14. Rookies are like Sixth graders moving to junior high, Seniors heading for college, they think they are on top of the world, then reality strike; if they accept that they are not the brightest bulb in the string but have the desire to be one, they will succeed. Most do not but still manage to burn brighter.
  15. Yep, R. Strange McNamara thought he was one of the smartest people in the world, shizzam!
  16. OH, the miracle analytics , I used to see thee type of people selling miracle cures at carnivals. R. Strange McNamara used analytics to run the Vietnam War.
  17. Rooker should be on the mind of ALL who think the rookies are going to come up and be some magical potion; Arraez numbers at Third are NEGATIVE, at second he has decent numbers. I hope like heck that the Twins dump Jeffers and put Rortvedt in, his fielding ability is incredible.
  18. Buxton showed fielding ability from the get-go, Larnach is a fielding turtle with a weak arm.
  19. Hammerin Harmon, I was a huge Mantle fan till he came around, went to the movie with Maris and him in it.
  20. Never did they lose 89 or more games in the seventies, Sam Melee was gone , Cal could not afford the huge salaries that came during the seventies. Using 1987, as a break point, when players in system were still result of Cal; the Twins up to that point only had 5 years of 89 or more losses; since then the Twins have had 11 years of 89 or more losses. Now even T. Kelley had bad years but when he made the play-offs he was not embarrassed as the Twins have been since then and the Yankees did not own the Twins till after Kelley.
  21. Same type, or same glove, Earl Battey used to get a Golden Glove in 1962.
