  1. Jeffers batting average, fielding skills does.
  2. Only the obtuse believe in luck.
  3. There is not such thing as bad luck, one makes one's own luck. If one is "stinging" the ball where they are standing , try stinging it where they are not standing.
  4. Looking at numbers from last year, it would be nice to have Cron and Schoop on the team. Polanco at 2nd is good, but Cron at First would be nice .
  5. Send Larnach down and bring Fisher up , see how he does in the Minors. Fisher is hitting more Home Runs in the Minors now than Cave. It could act as a jolt of reality, although I doubt Larnach will ever be better than he is now.
  6. He is a far better fielder than slow-foot Larnach.
  7. Hmm, he had two hits; the sky opened and the Angels sang.? That he was removed from the gam made little sense, the end of the month will say more,
  8. Soccer, hockey and basketball are about as boring as it getsare a, with soccer the absolute worst and basketball a strong second. A group of dudes going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth; the last five minutes of a basket ball game are about all worth watching.
  9. Odds are that would be just like last year where all proved they did not belong in the Majors; at that trying one, with a strong arm, in left field might not hurt.
  10. Why Larnach is still up makes no sense; so many here think the Twins are just an extension of AAA, so even I think at this point try some rookies in Left field who have good arms. Jeffers being no. 1 catcher was the worst mistake the Twins have made in a long, long time.
  11. Not even close; Eddie would have done it standing still, thirty feet farther back and it would not have bounced. Doumit and Rosario are the only two Twins I remember, not that there were not others, that could do that; Gordon has hustle, and never gives up, so Twins would be fools to not keep him.
  12. If they can take series , early on, against a top team, that will boost their psyche more than losing to lower team screws it up.
  13. He is, as long as he plays like Ozzie Smith, he was not hired as a Designated batter. (if they do not get a hit, they are just batters.)
  14. Trade Larnach and Kiriloff for Cruz. They have pro-experience rookies in the Minors that can fill in till they get some one/s in left field who has an arm and is not slow.
  15. Yes, leave them in the Minors where they can maybe show they will not screw up the Major league season.
  16. Larnach is no better than last year and is not a good fielder in left field.
  17. They need SS fielding , good bat would be nice but makes little difference.
  18. Carp are great tasting but a bitch to clean for frying; smoked Carp is about as good as it gets. I have had a lot of Whitefish from Northern Minn. and Carp; Carp are better.
  19. Maybe 2023 but 2022 big league is not training camp try-outs for rookies; last year was necessity, if they do it again the cellar will be their reward.
  20. After two more weeks of games, we will have an idea of which of these three games are most like the rest of the season.
