    I can't disagree with any of the posted responses to the written article ... It's sad and repulsive that the twins defense and offense are playing so poorly and seem to be regressing , I hope the pitching doesn't follow ...

    Tough decisions but the most obvious is the plan with the lineup ,,, We have to manufacture runs , a contender finds all ways to score runs and not solely rely on tge homeruns .... Need clutch hitting with bases full , 33 times we have loaded the bases and only twice have we scored ... Wake up coaches and get your players to maximize their talent because baseball seems to be going backwards and a .200 BA is ecceptable now a days and a player remains on the roster , when a near a near .300 BA was the norm years ago and if you couldn't hit you were sent elsewhere ( only players that stayed on a team years ago and were light hitters was Shortstop and catcher ) which were very important positions on defense ... I would like to see first a killer instinct , consecutive hits in a row , singles , doubles , triples , walks , bunts , changing hitting approach with runners in scoring position , keep finding ways to move the runner into scoring posture like a hit and run , if you don't like stealing a base , the manager should compromise with a hit and run ... Just make the game more exciting again , please make the game more exciting ...

    It's the worst uninspiring baseball since the 2019 juiced ball ... Too bad someone isn't intelligent enough to tell the manager that the ball isn't juiced anymore ... To bad I just don't get it that they can't make adjustments to make the game more exciting to compete ...

    Unfortunate for maeda and mahle being injured but a great opportunity for Ober and varland to develop for the future , will enjoy watching our young arms pitch , and we have SWR , enlow and Blaze still developing hopefully to follow ...

    Bumpy road , I think not ... The road series had so many pot holes , I now have to get a front-end alignment .... Rocco talks about all the skill the players have , I've yet to see it perform in harmony ...

    I sure miss our batting champ and urshela's bat too , someone stated yesterday that urshela is hitting .300 ... Almost lost Correa's bat to but managed to re- sign him but he's slumping along with Miranda and Gordon , everyone I just mentioned hit 270 or better last season , We need hitters that hit and get on base , we dont need everyone to be a homerun hitter ...

    I wish management and the players would realize that the fans are frustrated and bored with the way they play the game ... Is it worth spending money on bad entertainment , Rocco stated he is happy with the way his players are performing , he did not elaborate if it was the pitching players or the lineup players , the lineups are terrible , running bases again are not good ... Must be blinded by the light cause this is a terrible approach to just swinging for the fences , singles , doubles , triples and walks can manufacture runs ... We can't seem to get consecutive hits in a row , cleveland did against Ryan on Sunday and they won the game ... I have a great passion for the game but it's difficult at times , especially that they don't seem to fix the product to a more exciting style of play for the fans ,,, We have had some good bunts this year and it was exciting ... Go twins ...

    I hate to say it but the sophomore slump has gotten to him ... He's out of wack with his swing and defense has been below average ... Miranda is doing more harm being on the team with bad defense and hitting ... Solano would be next, defense hasn't been good and hitting isn't what it was at the beginning of season ... Castro doesn't hit much but plays infield and outfield and he switch hits , defense is better than the others ... Defense and pitching win games ...

    If arraez was still with the twins would you like arraez playing 3rd over Miranda ? , I would , arraez head is always on the game ... And as far as the offense , it has not been fun to watch , no runs on anything other than by a homerun ,,, Cleveland today had 4 hits in a row and got some runs against Ryan ... Twins 1 hit , pathetic

    Ryan went to driveline over the winter and worked with them there ... He wants to have a career and be better at what he does ... The results are very encouraging , he has won against better teams this year...

    I've been preaching a killer instinct or the lack of it for years ... Worst clutch hitting I have seen since 2019 , they do seem to choke in high leverage situations and someone has to teach them that high strikeouts per games are non productive , a bunt is more productive if it moves the runner up a base into scoring position , job is done and left for the next batter to get a clutch hit ... Striking out is giving the opponents an easy out and not productive , putting the ball in play and forcing the defense to make the play or force an error is productive ... We need a better strategy from our field manager and coaches , bring it back and play ball ...

    Though I Didn't have the opportunity to watch the game but heard on the radio a few innings , I did catch the the bad defense inning on the radio ... I ditto everything that has been posted , it was a sloppy game defensively , pitching was okay and kept us in the game , the biggest culprit is the hitting , would love to see some singles and doubles to manufacture runs than just relying on the homeruns , more patience at the plate with discipline to draw walks or hit it where they ain't .... the lineup hasn't been all that great to watch and where's the spark ... Sure miss major leaguer ( arraez ) , he's hitting , hitting and keeps on hitting , batting around 420 , the spark has left us ...

    I got suckered in that we could or should of swept Chicago when they are down , but they prevailed and almost swept us ... I'm predicting nothing , it's game to game ( Friday through Sunday ) ... We have had good pitching but the hitting has just not shown up .... Anybody missing arreaz yet ???

    I clearly stated it was a swinging strike but with the new set of rules in baseball who knows exactly what the umpires may call ... They got it right ....

    Yes we avoided a sweep but barely ... Had the umpires ruled that swinging strike a hit batter, the game could have ended or went to review . .. The bat's are quiet once again , 15 strikeouts , more than half the outs need were strikeouts ... Minnesota I think you have a problem ... Bullpen worked out of jams , walks , some intentional but it was intense just the Same ... Our defense was very good , turned 2 double plays and the moran double play to Polanco to first was a gem ...

    And today wasn't a good day for Larnach either , another one that hasn't quite got going is Miranda , his swing looks awful again , thought he was coming out of it ... On to Cleveland where we need to play better ball ,,, These 3 games with Chicago weren't very exciting ... Catchers beware , Cleveland leads the league in stolen bases ...

    Another botched opportunity , Jeffers thrown out at third and killed a rally ( on top of that Rocco challenged and lost another one ) , Rocco is not good on challenges this year ( 1 for 6 ) , and that botch lost our challenges for the whole game ... The twins continue to lose rallies by not executing , they are not managed properly by coaches to be called professionals , sure would have been nice to have our only exciting professional hitter ( arreaz ) up in that situation , OH that's right he was traded ... Are we missing the major leaguer ( arreaz ) yet , of course we are ...

    If he can pitch like Greg Maddux , who cares about velocity ... If his velocity isn't good he should start studying all of Maddux games pitched and maybe be a serviceable starter ...

    I hope he can prove everyone wrong and finally make the boy geniuses look like boy geniuses ... I guess Gallo is deserving as most of the hitters got off to a slow start ... Polanco should have been given an honorable mention since he sparked the lineup since arriving late due to rehab ...

    Let's not worry so much yet ... Let's Just enjoy the season of baseball ... It's a new year and anything can happen , I've already seen things I've never seen in baseball before ... I'm trying to be positive even though I dont like our managers style and bs on pre and post games ...

    Sadly we might even know after these two series with Chicago and Cleveland , if they can't play with a killer instinct and go out a beat these teams when there down ... Twins can't let these games slip away , they have to play every game and believe they can win them all ... Rocco always says there is another game tomorrow ,,, What's wrong with inspiring the players to go out and win a ten game winng streak ...

    I think Rocco is managing the same way he did in 2019 when we had a juiced ball and we hit 307 homeruns to beat the Yankees in that department ( he's no earl weaver ) and yes the twins are not good at it in today's game ,,, Would love to see more doubles and singles and walks , more discipline and patience at the plate goes along way , cut down on the strikeouts cause it is a pathetic way to play baseball and a rally killer , just put the ball in play ... Also noted is Rocco can't seem to win in extra innings , just like he can't win in the playoffs , he doesn't change his style of managing when he needs to ...

    My eyes were telling me that Ryan was missing his location in the 6th inning and he had 90 pitches , I was okay with the move , I did think it was odd how Rocco used his bullpen when the score was close and a possible extra inning game was possible , why didn't he use Stewart first if he is going to use him in high leverage games ...
