    Margot's pinch hitting may be comical ( im not buying it ) , but everytime Rocco inserts him as a pinch hitter I end up laughing , kind of reminds me when Rocco kept trotting out colome a few years ago and the results were always the same , blown save loss ...

    It will be exciting to find out , Cleveland and twins right now are in the complete opposite position they were in last year , Cleveland didn't add at deadline and because of that the twins held pat , Cleveland did aquire later some waivers from the angels but the twins still won the division in 2023 ... Cost conscious Cleveland will most likely see if the cost conscious twins add anything , before countering with their own moves ...

    It was a positive homestead from my perspective .... With all the injuries to key players they still fought a good fight ... Could have lost them all but starters held the big bats of phillies in check , got to commend them for that ....

    Enjoyed the game for 8 innings , a pitchers duel and good defense, Castro is not a shortstop , move Lee there and try a new experiment ... Duran worries me ....

    It was definitely a surprising win ... It definitely was a good win against a winning team ... If definitely would be nice if the twins had the killer instinct and took the series or all 3 games ... Yes it definitely would be nice ...

    I could think of better pitchers to get , might be better than kuechel was but for depth it would be a cheap acquisition and worth a try to harness his control , he was once a very good pitcher when healthy ... Hill , happ , keuchel and Paxton fit the mo of the aging pitchers ...

    I sure hope I see some small ball in the Phillies series , with this squad of players we need to manufacture some runs with runners in scoring position and yes , better defense too ... You can win close games with defense ... I sure hope Rocco and company took notice how Milwaukee played against us ... If we play small ball against the phillies and lose , we'll at least say we tried something ... Twins are In a world of hurt at the moment and we have a difficult time against winning teams , Detroit series might right the ship ...

    I'm sure the twins are not welcoming the Phillies with open arms , twins are In a world of hurt right now ... I can't believe with rest during the Allstar break how many players went on the IL list ... To me , not reporting a previous Injury by player or management to the fans is a detriment to their product ...

    The twins are In a world of hurt again right now , and we do need clutch hitting , we were terrible leaving so many runs left on the bases , bases full and no outs ( to often a choke ) ... Ŵe also need a new manager and FO , we can't win with them ... Sure hope Rocco noticed that Milwaukee players know how to bunt , will we see more small ball to manufacture runs with the present core waiting for the injured players to return ...

    Santana's homer was a lift but scrap the blue uniforms they are a let down ... Late inning action once again , a tying homerun by santana only to be let down by the bullpen ... Didnt castro a couple of weeks ago do the same thing , homer to tie the score only to be let down by the bullpen ... Sure hope FO and Rocco are gone after this season , they will never win with their strategy of baseball ... Expiring contracts want to know , because they truly are a total system failure ( example , they can't beat the better winning teams , they pick on the losers to win ) , is that a playoff teàm ???

    It would be nice if the twins would listen to the real fans of the club ... There is so many ways to draw the hard core fans and even casual fans to attend the games ... The real fans are the older generation , the younger generation goes to party , watch all the scoreboards and don't watch the product on the field ... There are so many ways to promote the twins product ... Have a Harmon killebrew day , Oliva , carew , kaat , puckett and blyleven day ... All these players are HOF players and we're well respected , your grandson will ask who was killebrew and your reply should be that the killer was the most prolific homerun hitter in twins history and feared by opposing pitchers during his career , watch that grandsons eyes light up when he hears this ... I would go to more games if they had days where we would honor our heros ...

    A lefty is nice in the rotation to break up the all righties we have , gives a different look to the opposing teams ... I don't think sears is the answer though, Oakland is as savvy as Tampa when it comes to trading away players , they most likely would come out the winner of the trade ... Trade deadline isn't to far away , twins did nothing last year , Cleveland folded at deadline but tried later with the angel's waivers, Cleveland should be buyers at the deadline ... Will be interesting with the payroll restraints ... The FO liked their players last year to win the division and did nothing , but pitching is a weakness and we need a solid number 2 starter ... I will wait and see , cause I have no crystal ball ...

    If they knew in advance he wasn't going to make an appearance in the game ... Willie should have participated in the homerun derby ... Just kidding !!! Also wasn't arraez selected to the Allstar game , I did not see his name in the box score ... I missed lot being on the road ...

    I've been out west for 2 months plus , I'm working my home in another 10 days ... Been checking in once in awhile on twins daily in that time , haven't missed many games though ...

    Couldn't have asked for a better outcome ... Pitching and offense at its best today , unbelievable 89 pitches to go nine innings for Ober , congratulations Bailey ... It was an exciting outing for Bailey , I don't have much love for our manager , today though is an exception ...

    Yes it worked out for Santana , Miranda could have been the hero too , but in that situation my thought was experience to pinch hit , santana has been in that situation so many times ... The numbers didn't matter and I think Rocco finally went with a gut feeling call , I'd like to see more from the gut than his sheets suggest ...

    Love it when someone brings up our heros of the past , tovar and carew steal 5 bases in one inning , each stole home in the same inning , pepe was a good player , lead off hitter most of the time ahead of carew , they were fun to watch , i still remember that game and wish we had old baseball mixed with this new crap ...
