  1. Two drops on that drive, awesome.
  2. Early ref ball plus another awful turnover. Shpuld be 7-0.
  3. Yup, not a great start there. They need to draft better, but hard to argue with the results.
  4. The 2022 draft was abysmal. I've liked the ones since better, even if they aren't great. He's certainly done a nice job in other ways adding talent to the team.
  5. I could see the Raiders signing him and letting him be a bridge QB.
  6. Anderson, Gates, Kuechly, Vinatieri, Wayne, Wilfork are my predictions. Yanda wasn't a household name, but he's my sleeper pick. That dude was a monster.
  7. There is a path, but Stewart's health and the almost certain regression coming from Jax are likely to be major impediments. That said, I might feel better about the bullpen than I do about any other component of the team.
  8. Actually...no. Miranda was better than Goldschmidt last year. I give you kudos for the effort! I'm just so pessimistic about the state of the payroll that I feel like the only reasonable path is total tear down.
  9. I'm only interested in him if it's a total tear down and you're hoping to buy the dip on him and deal him in July. Which may be the right path if the purse strings are as tight as we think.
  10. Honestly, if we're cutting salary and dumping players - then we should be playing young players there. I give it to Miranda and Julien. Goldschmidt was really, really bad last year. I'm not eager to sink what meager space we have into him.
  11. Yeah, count me on the side of not loving the idea of dumping all that salary for prospects only to invest in Paul Goldschmidt.
  12. This feels like his last head coaching job. And Zimmer's last job in the NFL.
  13. I guess this whole thing falls apart here for me: Topa and Castro or Bell and Mayza. I take the Topa/Castro side of that 100 out of 100 times.
  14. The NFL is full of these kinds of losses. The Baltimore Ravens are a better football team than the Vikings and have a great coach. They go from looking like an unbeatable juggernaut to taking losses to the Browns and Raiders. The Chiefs have at least two wins this year that were Ls if not for refs. Steelers lost back to back weeks to the Cowboys and Colts. The Eagles looked terrible to start the season. There is only one team that is going out and dominating teams on a weekly basis and even they have a loss on their docket. Winning in the NFL ain't easy, just go ask Joe Burrow.
  15. If they get to 12 wins, KOC would deserve coach of the year even if Dan Campbell is all but a lock at this point.
  16. If you just looked at the Titans record you'd assume a roll-away blow out but they have a very good defense. Their two DTs are a menace to handle and their coach is an excellent schemer in his own right. If you expected the offense to roll, this wasn't the game. They moved the ball, their WR dropped an easy TD, and Darnold did a much better job not forcing the ball. The running attack wasn't good, but (again) those two big boys up front are a lot to handle. They won the game comfortably (had some ref help to be sure) and the defense continues to beat on inferior competition. This team was never a Super Bowl contender this year, the fact that they look in line to have a sure-fire playoff bid is impressive as hell. Right now we'd play whatever garbage teams wins the NFC South. If you had told me that in July I'd have scoffed at you. Kwesi and KOC aren't blameless or without room to be criticized, but 8-2 for this team is nothing short of stunning. They deserve their flowers for it.
  17. Seriously, how was that catch not reversed under 2 minutes? They had plenty of time and it was obvious. KC really catches a lot of breaks.
  18. Clearly, KOC is awful and should be fired. Or so I'm told.
  19. In fairness, they dropped a TD that was a gimme. The little things are holding this team back s bit.
  20. Their QB hands the ball to the other team to score.
  21. That Nailor drop was awful. Almost as bad as Metellus flipping his hips on a fly route. People should know the Titans defense is a top 5/10. This game is well in hand.
  22. I doubt we see the offense breakout - the Titans are a good defensive team. But I do think this should be an easy win.
  23. This happened to Kingsbury in Arizona too. Team was like 7-0 or something and then his offense got figured out and they tanked every game after until he was fired.
  24. I'm cool with exploring options to essentially blow this team up. Including trading Lopez for prospects. But this deal ain't it.
  25. Last night I had KFAN on and there was a Vikings Xs and Os and KOC said (paraphrasing) "Sometimes you just need to make the simple, non flashy plays to keep chains moving and letting your defense and special teams win you the game" With the idea being they lean heavier on the run. Ok, that's fine. I even sorta like hearing him say that. But then why the BLEEP did you try to throw downfield on 3rd and 1 when you were already in field goal range? Of course, Paul Allen was asking the questions, so genuine push back didn't happen, but I was screaming it at my streaming app.
