  1. Sewing machines too. If you want to spool my mom up... Easy Chief 🤣
  2. Depends on how you look at it. To me it's either 7.2m or 7.4m vs zero dollars now and the risk of something higher later or still zero. He ain't getting that kind of NIL money. To argue over 300k at the risk of everything is like crying about the drapes when you buy a house. It's couch cushion money for Jenkins too.
  3. I feel like something is missing in our understanding of these deals. I understand the slot system but can't believe something like this is being held up over a couple hundred thousand bucks somewhere. Its couch cushion money in the grand scheme of things. Leverage smeverage both ways. It's tripping over a dollar to pick up a dime, it has to be over other details. Hopefully we will get some of them when it all comes out.
  4. Went and listened to the whole interview, was interesting on a couple other fronts. Polanco to third "he brought it up as much as we brought it up" very open to playing third. Buxton in the outfield is a "week by week evaluation" but "focus is on getting the bat going as DH" Outfield is not imminent, sounded more like getting time shagging fly balls as a mental exercise to me. Mentioned ML to ML trade for need fits several times.
  5. I'm very happy to see they seem to be attacking that situation this year. I've been so frustrated with the swing hard just in case plan in Manfred man innings.
  6. I got this one after getting tired of waiting for the shop to get stock. It's a good jersey but your authenticity may vary. I was able to track it all the way from China. It took about three weeks. https://myfansjersey.com/carlos-correa-minnesota-twins-2023-authentic-jersey-cream/
  7. I saw the same thing and its not up on Fangraphs anymore. Here's the baseball savant chart, looks about right for this roller coaster ride.
  8. Those two would cost something valuable. I think we can fill the need without getting crazy.
  9. Was not a bad at bat. Couple good takes and good swings at pitches in the zone. He did not get schooled.
  10. Kepler with 3 balls over 105 EV tonight.
  11. Was thinking the same thing. He strikes me as someone who would worry quite a bit.
  12. I don't think the price is similar but would agree that if it was Carlson would be the clear choice. The Cards do love O'Neill but they may also be showcasing him for the deadline by benching Carlson. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of faith in the Twins fixing O'Neill at this point either.
  13. Agreed, the RH bat has to be able to play outfield and that's a real stretch for Moundcastle. I like the idea of keeping in touch with the Orioles though. They will have to be active to find spots for all the prospects coming. Santandar or Austin Hays would be appealing and both have options left.
  14. Buxton rushed off after the game yesterday to have a baby. Or watch a baby. Something like that. I haven't seen anything but would assume a paternity leave is coming. It also may have been in his head recently which would explain alot. He seems like a guy who would worry.
  15. I think it comes down to what they can get the best value for. They are comfortable with Kepler if its one of the youngsters. I would assume the value would be Wallner, Larnach, Kepler then Gallo but other orgs might have it different. I'm positive our hitters are being scouted hard. Between the LH OF logjam, there is the IF jam as well. When I look from the outside I see a ton of talent that has torn up the minors but struggled in the majors. Considering the entire big club has struggled I would assume there is a coaching, scouting, or talent unlocking problem. Prime acquisition targets as I can buy low with an easy rehab. 25-27 really isn't young for someone to break out in the bigs. Its the age for a slower developing college player to get it together and it happens fairly often. A quick recent scan of debut ages, Jeff McNeil was 26, Jake Crownenworth-26, Luke Raley-26, Bailey Ober-25, Griffen Jax- 26, Brent Rooker-25, Jake Burger-25, Joe Ryan-25, James Outman-25 etc. Its not the glamorous 20yo trading market but significant values can be found. Mostly I would be shopping for solid 2 WAR contributors but you can occasionally hit a McNeil and control his value for most of their career. My asking price for Wallner and Larnach would be high.
  16. You mean like to break up 3 lefties in a row there?
  17. I’m not sure how long we want to mess with the Vazquez Julien right side. Also surprised Jeffers didn’t get 1B.
  18. Just got home from umping, was going to watch on tape delay but now you’ve gone and spoiled it. Thought I was safe on the baseball site. 🤣
  19. I’ll do some closed smoker porn. Especially a standard, some of them are works of art.
  20. The bacon is the best. I do a couple pounds almost anytime I smoke something else. I’m sure it doesn’t hurt to have the bacon dripping on the anything.
  21. Three guys for two spots should work itself out. On lefty, one switch and one righty. Rocco will be in heaven. I would guess Castro loses most in the playing time but he may have to play more outfield if its Wallner going down. Solano and Farmer spot in, maybe Farmer stands in the outfield a bit? They said it was part of his package coming in but hasn't happened. I personally don't expect them to move Lewis until the offeseason at soonest.
  22. About 2:30 in but a good interview all through. https://kstp.com/minnesota-sports/dallas-keuchel-twins-st-paul-saints-interview-minor-league-contract/
  23. That's good news. He said he joined the Twins for reasons other than direct path to the big leagues and this would support that. No Idea what direction this goes but lots of good options now. I was on the trade chip path but maybe bullpen/opener is feasible? Boras client so many things at work.
