  1. I concur, although I wouldn't bother with a Senator-my letter to him will have baseball way on the bottom of the list. I was poking around looking for someone to complain to on MLB.com, the only way to fix it is to have a high compliant level. I'm not sure why paying for extra innings doesn't bypass the blackout rules. In general if you are interested check http://www.the506.com/mlbmaps/ for the Saturday blackout stuff. Some of the things I see on this map are just plain dumb.
  2. Again, screw the blackout rules. It's not like having the Yankee's/Red Sox as the only game on is really going to make anybody watch it that wasn't already going to. I certainly won't.
  3. Screw you Fox! Good Day all, let me know how it goes.
  4. My gut feeling was that his baserunning was markedly worse than average and the stats seem to back that up. His extra base taken percentage is 32% while league average is 40%. He should be an almost automatic first to third but rarely does. If he would run the bases like he runs in the outfield it would be pretty sweet.
  5. I've been more frustrated the year with Revere not taking the extra base much more often than giving one up because of the arm. Somebody mentioned earlier that everybody goes first to third, I say except for Revere. I don't know what it is but it doesn't seem like the baserunning is nearly as good as it should be for someone with his speed. I just picked through some stats, Revere has gotten first to third 3 times in 17 chances this year. For comparison, Prince Fielder is 4/21 with 2 throw outs. To answer the question, the arm hasn't bothered me at all while there are a couple of games won strictly because of his range.
  6. I've noticed that Plouffe and Willingham have been homering in pairs lately.
  7. The lollipop curve ball right down the middle that he took for the first pitch was the problem with that AB.
  8. That was also only his 30th rbi, I wonder what the record is on that?
  9. Two walks already but still looking like a gem in work.
  10. Kudos to everyone who made it this far.
  11. I didn't know the nerve I was touching, but yet I'm the one suffering through his drivel. I don't have a great hatred for him because I only watch half of the times when they are playing the Twins plus Josh Mathews is pretty solid for balance. I could defiantly see endorsing the ice pick if I were a regular watcher.
  12. I'm not sure if I'm getting the best of the deal when I have to watch the Royals announcers. Dickbert v. Hudler is a knock - down drag out if I've ever seen one.
  13. Even here it's just me and you on a Friday night?
  14. I have had zero problems with the site on two diferent computers (FF 13.0.1) and didn't even know there were ads until I tried to post on my phone. Accessing the site though the stock browser on my EVO was pretty rough, I can read threads fine as I dodge the ads but posting was wierd. I was ok as long I was typing in a continual stream but when I tried to edit something in the middle of a sentence it wouldn't let me put my cursor anywhere other than the end of the post or some odd place in the beginning of the post. I tried several times and it always went to the same odd place. I've never had a typing problem like that before. Most full sites I view are pretty good on the phone but I expect some anomalies so I guess the question is what might be in the works for mobile?
  15. When was the last time the Twins drafted somebody that had a chance to fast track to the big leagues like this Reed guy or Sale?
  16. It doesn't help that Everitt has a buffet to catch.
  17. So where is all the irreverent? Where we supposed to bring that with us?
  18. I'm personally glad that Butera got the at bat there so we can continue this stimulating and highly educational debate. Also I support Plouffsies opposite field approach lately, if he can remember how to pull pitches when he gets the chance (looking at you, baby jesus) we might have something.
  19. Umm, what are we supposed to do here again?
