I'm a geezer! I love baseball. Still young enough to move pretty darn well and old enough to remember when I was just learning to move. But, I have always loved the Twins!
The Twins Geezer

Wow....I said a few days ago that this series would let us know what sort of team we really had. Well that sure got answered. Game two really gave me hope as we hit the daylights out of the ball and everyone seemed to put together great at bats. We had a great result with the pitching by everyone that trudged up the mound.
Game 3 - Holy cats, let's revert to the team that plays little league ball with the Yanks. In typical fashion, build up our hopes and then chip those hopes down to smoldering ashes. From the fourth inning on we played like this was the first time on a ball field. Ughhhh.
Jekyll and Hyde, that is who we are.
Love the team but we are not yet championship caliber.
Professor Baldelli couldn't light a firecracker. Sorry, but the non-emotional, analytic driven, bad pitching handling, in love with certain players (The Duff and others) manager completely sealed the deal for me. He really needs to walk away from our stadium and find employment elsewhere.
Good Grief!

Hooooooeeeeee.........yesterday I asked Professor Baldelli to toss in some small ball with the Yanks. So, he tosses in the Duff and he actually gets tossed. While I actually enjoy when I see a pulse from our fearless leader, I believe we had a game that would have allowed us to try some bunting or hit and run, at least into the 5th or 6th........but no deal! The fearless leader brought in the Duff and we again showed that we have struggles with men on base in close games. I sometimes think we feel as though we are caught in 1999 Bomba Days, without the results. We have a different team now. I will tag on that it constantly amazes me to see Buxton regressing back to an easy K with anything down and in. He's beginning to remind me of Sano when he used to fish.
We still have 2 to go with the Yanks. GO TWINS!
