    oooh. I wanted this collection when it went on sale a few years ago, but my wife (correctly) told me that we dont need to spend $500 and dont have room for that many bobbleheads. BUT, if I win, I'll make room. ETA: I wont display the Griffith and Pohlad ones, being rich isnt a reason to be in the Twins HoF.

    I was at the team store last week buying some xmas stuff, and I looked in, and it looked like it was still there, but they've removed that logo from their list of official logos.

    Honestly, I feel like they stole the Winter Meltdown concept to make the friday night event. I know Twins Daily didnt invent or own to idea of live events with guests and drinks etc, but, it seems like they saw the success and wanted in. Im glad TD never charged $200 some bucks for the event.

    Does anyone remember how much the baby blues were immediately after they were announced? they were $250 for the authentic (which is less than $300, but inflation, economics, etc), then after a few months they came out with the replica ones for $150. Also, you really think the Twins set the price for their online store? you dont think its Nike or Fanatics that does that?

    As I know nothing about him at all, John is obviously more informed than I am, but I struggle with calling billionaires that have ideas "innovators". Just because you are rich, doesnt mean your ideas are any better than anyone else's. Like I said, John knows him much better than me, so I may be wrong.

    I heard a rumor a few years ago (cant remember from where/whom), but they started to lean into it more over the past few years (championship flags in RF at Target Field, etc) in order to get ready for the 100 year celebration of the 1924 WS title.

    Im more surprised he said this with still a week left in the season. I get it was the last home game, so more media etc and they were asking questions. but I would have thought he give more of a non-answer until the games are done.

    And Ohtani isnt? I guess technically someone had a similar season last year, but they also won the MVP for that... I heard somewhere (online or some MLB talk, i cant remember), someone was listing off all of Judges stats and ranking this year offensively, and the retort was "and what's his ERA?". I think Ohtani deserves it more, but I think Co-MVPS would be very appropriate this year.

    make sure to get a first game certificate as well, some ushers have them, otherwise they have them by 113 at guest services.

    but they DO impact other people. because viruses are contagious. So, Im saying in matters of public health, sometimes personal choice gets trumped for the greater good. like how we give up personal choices of driving where and when we want, and agree on stopping at red lights.
