  1. True, but.....how many long term successful starters are there that have his type of velocity and control in this day and age?
  2. I would never treat a metric which has this as 14 % above average.
  3. In what world is a slash line of 206/294/413....14% above average? Wow, if that line is 14% above average, what the heck would below average look like.
  4. Making adjustments is key in this game. Some will, some can't or won't. Kudos he chose to and was able to.
  5. I believe he will get more guaranteed as A FA was my point. And I'm saying we will have to wait and see, but yes he will.
  6. We will agree to disagree. That offer has no, absolutely 0 percent chance. He can get guaranteed money as a FA. I guess we shall see.
  7. He will get 20 mil plus for at least 5 years on open market. With guys on here wanting to give him a 45 mil contract, It would be better to just say you don't want him...and that's ok. But 45 million? C'mon.
  8. He doesn't want incentives...it's guarantees he will be looking for
  9. Great article. One question I would like to ask is....do pitchers have any or alot of input into there pitch and or inning limits? Just curious if it's completely a organizational decision or 60/40, 80/20 as far as limits.
  10. I have many issues, you can ask the wife. But my largest concern is our manager. I believe if we have any hope of being competitive next year, we will need an elite manager.
  11. Great write up. I sounds like he would need protection at end of year, so hopefully he gets looked at I guess.
  12. So as soon as a guy starts having a good season and plays well...ie Polanco....there are 2 comments within the first 5 to trade him. I just dont understand this mentality. Why do so many here start trying to trade a cost controlled board line Allstars? What are you hoping to achieve?
  13. Not to single you out, but....teams don not win a world serious, just based on prospects. I'd rather have LA Makina
  14. I love this wish list, but better chance at winning the lottery.
  15. I wish for a Young/Garza type trade. Just vice versa.
  16. I'm am way to depressed. Such a long way I have fallen since watching in Fort Myers.
  17. But I would take production over the analytical numbers you posted.
  18. I agree, try hard to resign Berrios. Please get rid of Rocco. This maybe a unpopular opinion. But Jose is necessary...wish we had at least 2 more just like him. But I just don't see Rocco as a manager for this team...and not just because this year. He is who who is, and that is a manager that seams to have lost the balance between analytics and baseball.
  19. This season is why I was upset we did not go all in at the 2019 trade deadline. We chose not to pounce and played it safe. With many fans screaming to not trade away prospects at the time. Well here we are, no world championship, 100 loss season 2 years after....but hey we still have our prospects.
