  1. Martin is way to advanced as a batter to start at AA. I disagree starring him there would not be ideal for him as a prospect.
  2. The biggest thing I can add and takeaway from my stay here. 1. Many and I mean Many adjustments being done on the fly by the players. Not saying it's a bad thing, as I sence an urgency more than the past. Definitely not as structured as in the past, I'm sure do to condensed schedule. 2. Very positive vibe, players are busting there tail ends off. Everyone looks like they are more trying to "catch up" for lack of a better term. Many major league players are jumping in on A, or AA to get timing down and work in. 3. Carlos Correa looks as advertised and seems to be taking a large leadership role.
  3. I truly see the development happening. I also see the growth in him, as I have watched him pitch in multiple spring training workouts and games over the years. I believe we will be more than pleasantly surprised by his success and a few others. I may take heat for this , but from my view we will have a top ten rotation in the AL. I know we need more, so hoping we squeeze out some extra. From everything I've seen down here past few weeks...do not sell this team short! Another move would be great but excitement should be building. Just saying hop on this hype train now before it's to late
  4. Meanwhile on the back fields, Correa took very competitive batting practice from Alcala. Was very impressive from both. What struck me most was how they sat and talked pitches and sequences for over 20 minutes after. Great day at the fort.
  5. Was great to see Correa taking live competitive bp from Alcala today on a bak field. Then him and Alcala talked pitches and sequencing for 20 + minutes
  6. Love all the...oh no the sky is falling...oh wait was just a rain drop
  7. Sanchez was added to the roster to help facilitate the Donaldson trade. Also he is our back up cather as of now.
  8. I'd like to go on record as saying...no worry about our dh. Our combined DH starts will be better than what Cruz puts up this year. My opinion! But feel strongly 1 or2 guys will take it and run with it
  9. Quick question Mathew. I see Gordon has graduated...all good. But it shows as he was the 37th ranked prospect in 2021 according to this. Maybe a typo? I know he's mainly a utility type guy that plays a few different positions and is still young, but there is no way we have 36 other prospects in our system that will have a better career than Gordon...even if it's just a couple of years. But I need to ask please, who thought he was our 37th ranked prospect in our system in 2021? Is this a typo or do you believe there are 36 players in our system whom are better and will make the major league ball club? That's a heck of a farm system if true.
  10. Definitely the highlight of my year. If you've never been, you will absolutely love it. Soooo much baseball going on everywhere. Complete overload, makes a person feel like a kid. Though becomes addicting more every year. You won't regret it. ?
  11. Berrios does win the consistency. However Gray has 3 seasons higher than Jose's best, according to these numbers though.
  12. I honestly must ask in a kind way. Are only Twins fans on TD? Hard to understand so much dislike and anger against our team. Maybe we are being infiltrated by Sox fans....I'm half joking...but really?
  13. You do realize we traded away a prospect for a major league player in this case? I'd never call my favorite team losers......ya know. Ever
  14. Thankyou for these updates Jam. Great insight and content.
  15. So, what did we lose by signing him? Nothing like waiting 3 years for an I told you so.
  16. An infield of Chapman, Ursula, Polanco, AK would be nice, very affordable and make up for the couple bats we lost.
  17. Out of left field here. But do we have any chance of lining up with Oakland for Chapman and one of the remaining pitchers?? Miranda +? Or just to high a cost in the additional prospects? Just crazy thought. All of this is kinda out of left field up to this point anyway.
  18. Well, he was in New York I believe. Explainable in my opinion. I wouldn't do well in New York either.
  19. One year sample size here...how was Garver in 2020?
  20. So who is the tire with a hole in it and who is the bald spare in this?...honestly want to know.
  21. I agree, I don't understand the angst of training a #26 overall pick years away from a mlb shot for an established controlled top 30 pitcher in baseball. I feel Jay's gave up much more for Berrios. Well done.
  22. Thankyou to everyone for the hard work to keep us updated. I appreciate the fellow fan updates from Fort. Go Twins
  23. Put me in coach...I'm ready to play! So excited. Glad I didn't cancel spring training trip after all! Just giddy
