  1. Kepler is an above average RF. But Please do not bat him leadoff. I don't get the fascination of batting him first in the order. Does anyone feel differently, please convince me. I know the win probably increases when a team scores first. But what would be the win probability if we scored 2 or 3 runs first, as opposed to a single shot hr.
  2. Is any fellow Twins fan planning on attending spring training? I'm very curious on what to expect it to look like as opposedto past years. Any insight would be helpful. Thankyou
  3. I wish we had been able to acquire Musgrove.
  4. Great list and Article! I love this!
  5. This is comforting. Great add my getting Colome. If I remember correctly, Rodgers really struggles in back to backs.
  6. "The Cruz saga was the culmination of the Falvine era" Well If this statement is true we are in trouble.
  7. Great article and signing. Im not anti-sabr by any means. But. I do have to question the extreme of saying pitcher wins, ERA, saves, and RBI stats don't matter. Isn't the ultimate goal to win games, prevent runs, and score runs? For example to the anti pitcher win stats...Id much rather have a pitcher win 20+ games with a lower strike out percentage than vise versa. Just my opinion.
  8. Great news about spring training. Really hoping to get tickets. Been going 8 years now. Best time of the year.
  9. This makes me excited. Glad to see our Twins are not following the 125 million dollar payroll restraints that so many on here predicted. I still see at least 1 if not 2 more major league signings.
  10. I just believe many of us are setting our sights to low. I believe the Twins will sign Cruz And another starter And another reliever.

  12. .IF we have to choose. I Choose pitching. Im a huge Cruz fan, but if we are on a budget...we NEED another mid-level starting pitching depth. I honestly think the Twins can and should afford Cruz, another starter and 2 decent relievers. Cant understand why our payroll shouldn't be at least equal to last years. Are we trying to win the ws or make money. I just feel like so many mentions of us having the aprox 125 million limited payroll shouldn't be acceptable. But to each his own as they say.
  13. I agree, at least one more bona fide starter is a must. Just cant image trying to make the playoffs with only 5 proven starters to start the season.
  14. I believe this is the year he puts a full season together. I know others think last year was not up to par, but he really turned it on at the 3nd half. Not to mention what a gem of a playoff game he pitched. PLEASE lock him up long term. He's a true #1 starter, and the guy I trust the most come playoff time.
