Made an 8 .5 hour drive to Fort Myers to watch the Muscles homestead. Was treated to some really fun baseball. Emma Rodriduez just continues to really catch my eye. Very mature speaking with him also. Also was able to catch few of the FCL Twins games gearing up to start there season. Talk about fun, the kids and coaches were so excited to see me and my wife cheering them on at 10 Saturday morning at jet blue. Great experience and these guys are sooooo thankfull for the support. Had a blast

Winder will be a steady force in our rotation. I can't stress this enough, he is on a innings limit this year. He is doing exactly ? what he should be doing. So are many others. You do know our best pitcher Ryan wasn't one of our own? But acquired from outside of the organization. What's your solution?

I have to ask the multitudes, why such pessimistic takes? What is it that we need? I just feel as if many are "blaming cold" weather or expect the starters to fall flat at some point...if not soon. I'm sure it's just guarded optimism? However I do not see this start as a fluke. I honestly believe this is the best rotation we have had in multiple years...with ample depth. I'm sure all will become believers soon enough.

Ok, let me ask you this. Do you expect us to remain a top ten rotation? What would it take for you to become a believer and not just thinking it's based more on the arms just being fresh and early of the season? I truly am curious of what sounds like pessimism. What would you personally need to see to become optimistic that we have a top ten strong deep rotation?

So nice to finally read positive comments on here for sure! Even better to see the Twins dominate in all 3 phases of the game. Winder looked great and has the gifts to be our top starter. God bless all.

Got the opportunity to meet him and spend some time with him while at spring training. I came away very impressed as well. Such a nice young man, always giving thanks to God. He definitely is special and just really stood out on field and in the dugout amongst his peers. I can say The Twins really do a good job transitioning these players to a new environment. Not sure if there are teams that do it better than the staff down at Fort Myers.

Maybe...but doubtfull there is any difference in the end....with or without Rogers this year. Don't forget we traded Rogers for a starting pitcher also
  8. Twinsrtheworst
Then how is the trade hurting us to win now?
  9. Twinsrtheworst
Were and when have you seen the Twins honor and listen to Tom Kelly at spring training? Last I seen him there was 5 years ago. I'm guessing you are thinking close to 8+ years ago.
  10. Twinsrtheworst
Na....did you watch the game? Was never close.
  11. Twinsrtheworst
I think most of us would take a .243 avg with 35 homeruns from even our top players...if you believe a dip in those numbers to be a slush pile...well our team would be amazing.

    1. I'm sure the Twins have scrutinized his medical. Let's not forget Rogers injury seamed worse as he did shut it down. 2. Pagan also benefits from good coaching. 3.Both of these players were aging and hurt last year. A new union rep and assistant rep will be appointed and do there respective jobs as well as the previous ones.
  13. Twinsrtheworst
Or we could have had Rogers that more than wilted. He went to th IR. How many playoff wins has Rogers been evolved in again?
  14. Twinsrtheworst
If you read threw the comments there are plenty already called to trade Carlos and many others questioning why we signed him if we were going to trade Rogers.
  15. Twinsrtheworst
Well there are more than a handful who stated they do not like this trade and had mentioned punting on the season in previous articles. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion of course. I also want the young guys to play...actually our team has become much younger threw these trades. Winder and Duran both made the roster as did Ober and Ryan. Kiriloff and Celestino and Gordon....all young guys. Other than Miranda what other younger players do you want on the roster? Even Paddack is young. So I pose this question to you, who else do you want on the roster?
  16. Twinsrtheworst
I sometimes...ok many times do not understand what's folks want on here...heck so many wanted to punt on this season just a month ago. No even more do? Let's give these guys a chance. We have a really good team. Is it the best, probably not. But thus team is talented and young. Don't be a doomsday guy before the season even starts...at least wait untill May folks. Go Twins
  17. Twinsrtheworst
I see your optimism is just bubbling over. Season not started yet and declaring us sellers already..
  18. Twinsrtheworst
So no to trading Rodgers no matter who he brings in return. That's a hard line.
  19. Twinsrtheworst
I agree Miller handled himself very well down in Florida. I see him sticking at short. He acted as a leader already on the back fields during spring.

I am a Homer in South Carolina. That being said, I see great things for this ball club. After speaking with many coaches and players, I don't take this desire to win this year as just coach speak. Could be a special year folks.
  21. Twinsrtheworst
Agree with all the above. Great points!
  22. Twinsrtheworst
Really good dude. Got the opportunity to chat with him in Florida as he gave some interesting info while wearing his flip flops. Definitely cheering for him.
  23. Twinsrtheworst
How or what are you looking at when you say Gray hasn't had a decent season for 5 years.
  24. Twinsrtheworst
Many of the young players from the Dominican Republic not mentioned looked like the real deal in spring training. Watching some of the Low A and high A spring training showed more than a few players that have big league potential written all over them. It's amaizing watching some of these kids stand and play head and shoulders over there counterparts. Quite a few kids not mentioned in our top prospect ratings will be household names for Twins fans in the next year or 2.

I hope also. I honestly see 85 wins. I guess we shall see who's prediction is correct in about 6 months my friend.
