  1. I understand the pitcher injuries related to chasing the speed gun. But the other injuries? Perplexing.
  2. It's going to be a good game. Back home in OH, Jeff Brantley on color on radio. He is superb; give a listen.
  3. Whether you signed a bonus or played the shortest season under contract, sing out. Let's hear your experience. Don't be bashful, DB, a sandlot hardball and fast pitch softball player until I was 39. Never earned a nickel.
  4. Good managing in letting him work out of the PB&J he created. Yeah, I know the pen is gassed.
  5. I guess I give up on Lewis. I have been a huge fan of him since he broke into the game with the draft of 2017. He just doesn't have the body makeup needed to compete at the MLB level. Suggest that the Twins ease out of the relationship over the winter and move on.
  6. And fortunately I haven't found that element or incivility on TwinsDaily. Thank you.
  7. This quality of ball where a position player pitches 3 x's in a week is absurd. Put a quality product on the field. You are losing me.
  8. Fernando Rodney, Mr Arrow-Man, really? Signed and playing for the Hamilton (CA) Cardinals. 48 yrs young. "...Rodney is pitching independent ball in Canada, in a league that includes a mix of former Minor League players, a few ex-big leaguers, recent college players and semi-pro players with day jobs. The league also includes Japanese women’s pitcher Ayami Sato, who debuted for the Toronto Maple Leafs last Sunday and tossed two perfect innings." https://www.mlb.com/news/fernando-rodney-pitching-in-canadian-baseball-league
  9. Zack Littell, who pitched for the Twins from '18-'20, is now pitching for the Rays. Have the game on the radio, where Rays lead the Fish, 3-1.
  10. Greggory, from where are you gleaning all the specific paired relationships? Are they implied on your part or do you have quotes? Just curious in that I have never seen much coming out of the clubhouse with the Twins.
  11. Rortvedt out and Gibby in. Gibby signed a MiLB contract with the Rays, https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/05/rays-to-sign-kyle-gibson.html
  12. Have Miller on audio w/the TV feed on MLB.TV right now. Listening to Robbie Ray grunt with his pitches. Shulman paints a wonderful picture. Miss him on the radio; I can't stand Buck Martinez though. Not sure if he is on this year.
  13. Tigers lost in bottom 9th on relief. They looked tough.
  14. Really? An article discussed his arrival at the clubhouse and not even viewing who was the opposing pitcher on the scorecard. Not interested in talking with hitting coach on how to approach the opposing pitcher or studying the mix of pitches. Respectfully, we remember too different Miguels.
  15. Taylor Rogers tossing for Reds. 1.72 ERA. That's an offseason trade I missed. MLB-TV game.
  16. I have the Reds-Guards game on and Santana is playing 1B with shortened pants on with tights running all the way up. Makes old Sox unis look attractive in comparison. Garter beltarama. Uni faux pas. Hitting 220, on base 17 straight games.
  17. Add #5 to the article: Learn to incorporate those muscular legs/thighs rather than arm strength/whip alone.
  18. Paddock threw 20 first-pitch strikes to 25 batters. Oh, that pitchers find the strike zone. Early and often. Reminds me of how Gibby used to nibble and dink around and get behind with his counts and then have to come in with it late in the count and get shelled.
  19. Did all the players have those awful looking stirrup socks? Normally, I enjoy the look but clearly these uniforms were designed by St Peter as his nasty-gotcha legacy.
  20. Derek Shelton O-U-T as Buc'os skipper. https://www.mlb.com/news/derek-shelton-dismissed-as-pirates-manager
