Walk away Derek and Thad. Please!!!!

Don't even pick up the phone if the Red Sox call. Block their number. A big NO Thank you on this deal.

AND we have Gonzo able to sub in for 8 of those spots which is highly underrated.
  4. oldguywithanitch
Get Eddie out of the clean up spot? When he's traded this winter for a starting pitcher. Does Wade make the post season roster instead of Cave? Hildenberger and Stewart will be dropped this winter.

Why isn't Adrianza running for Cruz? Need to avoid injury at this point

I think it's a great idea. Give these minor leaguers a chance against the cellar dwellers. If they have a couple bad outings against the white sox and royals then we'll find out we might not be able to count on them next year.

I've joined the team of don't trade the top prospects. Just get whatever bullpen arms you can for guys that won't make the 40 man over the winter. I think with the easier schedule coming up, we'll rebuild a big lead on Cleveland and easily win the division. Sure, I'd rather have Baumgarner, Syndegaard, Grienke, etc pitching a playoff game in Yankee Stadium but not at the expense of an extended decade long run of very good baseball. This season is SO MUCH MORE FUN than the losing years. Right, wrong or indifferent, it's my opinion.

    It wouldn't have left Yellowstone

WOW, was that a fun and entertaining intro. Thank you!!!

Cron probably doesn't know how to bunt, but for you guys that hate the sacrifice, I would rather have a guy on 2nd and one out then two outs and nobody on.
  11. oldguywithanitch
with Garvers recent injury I'd rather see Castro or Cron out there. Cruz is DH, so don't want to have to have a pitcher hit. And Sano should never ever never play outfield again.
  12. oldguywithanitch
I wonder if he would be in the minors right now if Gonzalez and Buxton weren't hurt.
  13. oldguywithanitch
Rowson needs to make Sano watch that last at bat of Rosario's. Take the outside pitch the opposite way.
  14. oldguywithanitch
I thought Davies of the Brewers looked damn good against us.
  15. oldguywithanitch
agreed, but Garver not scoring on the wild pitch was bad. With two outs, that's really all he has to look for. Secondary lead and be ready to go.

The Twins were a nice little story for a few months...

we dont know if they offerred more than the Cubs but he wanted to go there.

Tony Oliva was 26 when he won the Rookie of the Year Award as the American League batting champion.
  19. oldguywithanitch
Not only were the starting pitchers outstanding but so was the home plate umpire. He was very consistent and did a great job calling strikes on the edges. IMO

Just like big league hitters, broadcasters need a certain number of at-bats before you know how good they are. I don't think LaTroy has enough experience yet. And I like how he mimics TK by referring to the Duke as Richard.

Daylight savings time is needed for all of the unlighted fields so we can play baseball, softball and soccer later in to the evenings during the summer
  22. oldguywithanitch
1 and 2 is the count to most likely throw a pitch out. I like Buxton running but not sure on that count
  23. oldguywithanitch
Rob Drake had an absolute horrible night behind the plate. I'm sure he'd admit it. Calling Schoop out when he cleary checked his swing, calling a foul ball when a Yankee hitter swung under the ball, Cruz strikeout. When an umpire is that bad it sets a tone for the game and leads to sloppy play.

Pretty crappy weather for our home games so far
