It cost a base there, but Florimon made the right play to come home. That was a sure DP otherwise and if Pedro doesn't come home, it is a runner on third and two outs.

Perhaps, but Adam Dunn seems to have had a reasonably productive career (other than last of course) alternating between HRs and Ks. The B**ch Sox don't mind batting him 4th.

With nobody out and a ball hit in front of Florimon, I wasn't going to second guess Vavra, but that may be the story of the game. Jeez, this club is terrible with runners in scoring position.

So now that Rochester is done, who, if anyone should be called up for the rest of the season?

No room on the 40-man for Richardson or Romero. BTW, neither Parm didn't start the last two games and Romero was the DH, so I don't think Glynn was regarding either too highly.

Just got back from the Vikings game.

 

...I have no idea why the heck I am going to watch the Twins game. I don't want to get any more depressed.

I'm starting to fear that Gardy won't get to 1000 wins.

 

If the super majority of the Twin's remaining games were on the road - I'd bet that Gardy reached 1,000 wins this year.

Hey, they should be partying all around Soldier Field after the da' Bares latest conquest.

 

Wouldn't know ... I stay inside or stay away from an hour before to an hour after. If I can come and go during the game I do that, too. All to avoid the masses, who are mostly idiots and often drunk.
