Warm up Miz and close this thing out tonight

If the announcers have said who is warming up at the moment, I missed it.

Colorado Rockies fans are on their knees outside of Whole foods with Senzatela closing this one out.

You got a lefty left in your bullpen, you use him.

Albert Pujols advertising colon cancer screenings was not on my bingo card

I got a false positive from that stupid product six months ago.  Clean 'scope a few weeks later.  Guess I should count my blessings.

I just want more baseball, so at least for tonight I want the Rays to pull it out.

1 down.  3 to go.

Fun baseball.

Love your opinions on baseball and that's why I ask... How does a team like the Brewers with the WS in their grasp, NOT put in the best pitcher in baseball Mis to close things out there?

When I watch baseball as a fan it is different than managing.  Kevin Cash and Pat Murphy must consider the health and careers of their players. There was not a chance that Cash would use Rasmussen last night. Murphy was, likewise but for slightly different reasons, not going to use Misiorowski. The decision from a fan perspective is to close it out. There are a couple of factors that may have run through the thought process. One is that Misiorowski, a starting pitcher, would have needed more time to warm up ideally. The other is that there is not a guarantee that Misiorowski is automatic, especially in an unfamiliar role. We have seen veteran aces come in as relief pitchers before, most recently Yamamoto just last season. In that case, Yamamoto who is also young but more established, had requested Roberts to consider him. It had been discussed. The situation last night may have screamed second guessing and a number of people will see this as a mistake. Communication is key. Murphy seems like a manager that is very specific with his players. I'm guessing that every player in the Brewers clubhouse knew who was up next. The one situation that might have been questioned was when Murphy lifted Ashby. Ashby was cruising and wanted to stay in the game. Murphy felt that he had reached his pitch limit, whereas Ashby might have felt that he was going to be out for Wednesday's game so he could go another inning. I might have left Ashby in, but I'm also not educated on how Ashby has been used all season. I would not have brought in Mis and only saw this when I clicked on Twins Daily. I do think it was a natural fan reaction though.

This World Series has seen a number of errors but also a number of great plays. Games 1 and 2 hinged on hard hit balls eluding Walls. Walls has been spectacular. He has made about a half dozen plays that we have not seen since Christian Guzman or maybe back to Greg Gagne. The key play in Game 3 was Yelich smart hustling and whether Caminero could have made the throw to first base instead. Game 4 saw a tremendous defender, Ortiz, make an error to open the 12th inning. Even with the errors I am more convinced than ever that the Twins must step up defense at every position possible and add to their bullpen.

Another note, watching Cooper Pratt last night made we think that the Twins should consider pushing Marek Houston aggressively. Watching Houston quite a bit in 2025 and then more this past season, it seems like Houston has developed quickly. The two players are physically similar (Pratt is a little bigger) and have similar games. In August, Marek looked tired for a week but he turned it on and finished the year looking like he wanted to be noticed.

Sorry for the long response. I'm pumped to watch another game tonight.
