Is this ERod's first major league walk?  The a-hole ump wanted to ring him up, but fortunately ABS challenge was available and he was confident enough to call for it.

Umps love to do the theatrical third strike punch-out. They probably practice it in the mirror.

, finishing better than last year --  might end up in LAST place  - whole american league was off this year .   Youth will hopefully be the bright spot ,  but as a Team   NO

Depending on which prognosticator you followed, the Twins were expected to finish anywhere from first to last, but most of the time a few games below .500.  With a favorable schedule the rest of the season, 74 to 77 wins is still achievable, which would be in line with what was expected.  At best, the team was expected to have a similar situation as the Odyssey.  At worst, it was expected to be the Titanic without the pomp and circumstance of the maiden voyage.  The season is finishing on a sour note, but I have some hope for next year that we are rebuilding a foundation that will work.

Another game where they score 1 or 2 runs.  Starter will keep it close and the bullpen will implode.

I will have to check but I believe it's going on twelve consecutive games with four or fewer runs.

Why was interview with Winfield so short??? They should’ve had him In booth for whole game

Standard stuff to have an interviewee for half an inning.  Just too bad that half inning was so short.

I don't know what role Zebby will play next year but these innings today are all very high leverage. It's a tightrope that our offense makes our starters walk.

Rodriguez hits the ball hard alot so far, he could be really good.  Keaschall, Rodriguez, Culpepper, Lee, Jenkins, Buxton.  I am not counting on Lewis or Jeffers.  Those 1st 6 could make the start of a good lineup if they pick up a few other pieces.

Another solid DH pickup like Bell (I feel it won't be him) would help. Wonder if Torkelson is available.

Thanks. Tiger fan base is very much over him.

That's sort of my issue with Gabby.  He seems like he has no position right now.  They are already trying to make Keaschall work in the OF so he has a home.  Lewis should be our 1B for next year and an OF that has already too many players that need playing time.

So dumb to have Luke bunt

It worked perfectly and set up Martin to drive him in.
