No, I have been a big fan of Culpepper but his defense may he more suited for second base. I mean he did it last night too, biffed a routine grounder. Then strikes out. Rookies, you gotta live with midtakes I guess.

Since Philadelphia came to town on August 13, Lewis has eight hits and three walks in 51 PAs, not counting today. One hit was a 2B, all others were 1B. That works out to an OPS of .384 and a wRC+ of 3.

Same. Lewis has to be evaluated closely before running him out again next spring. If somebody sees value in him, make the swap.
