Think about the Twins lineup... Right Now Aaron Hicks and Clete Thomas are hitting the best out of everyone. 2. Think about Joe Mauer... Enough time with the babies already... The Grand Parents have seen them... They are cute and cuddly... You can come back now and hit a home run for each one. 3. Think about King Felix... Yeah... He's just the tonic this struggling offense needs. With that said... Who knows... Maybe we will light him up. 4. Think about Scott Diamond... The Front office has got to be watching him with at least mild thoughts of sending him down and know he's matching up with thought #3. 5. Think about your Television... It's called a TV set... Yet it is only one TV.

I've already been out to dinner (my favourite sushi place) and am home ... by 8:15. But, I have a good excuse ... Saturday mornings, from 7-10, is my CardioTennis routine, so not likely I'll be staying up too late to watch the game.

I lost my last match 6-0 6-1 6-0. I fell out of my chair reaching for balls 8 times.

It's too bad the Twins' AAA team isn't still in Portland - it would be close enough to save them the price of a plane ticket after the game tonight.

Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 What a tough stretch of pitchers for the Twins to face. At least Ploof won't k 4 times tonight. This could be over in a hurry, though.

You have to add more running to it?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 Dozier with a big start... Here we come!!
big dog Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Joe is surrendering $125,000 per day after Day 3 to remain on paternity leave. Paying for college will cost about 3 days each, even given the rapid increase in the cost of higher education.

big dog Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 You know, I appreciate what Ryan Doumit did last year, and he works hard now- he's a pro. But it's time to let Arcia and others have his at-bats. I hoped he would have a good year and pull up the young guys with his performance, but it just ain't happening.

Paying for college will cost about 3 days each, even given the rapid increase in the cost of higher education. Carol Gardenhire had a point though about getting more paid paternity leave for twins (especially when you are the icon of the Twins). But since Joe doesn't really need the money, it would be a cool gesture if the Twins took what they would have paid him for the next 2 or 3 days and gave it to a charity that benefits kids. Its not like his replacement is getting big bucks.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 How big of a leashe do you give Diamond, if you're at even a tiny bit serious about winning this game?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Dozier playing 2nd field or Hermann playing right second? Nice catch
big dog Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 This Chris Hermann guy has his moments, doesn't he?

The Twins will probably have to go to cosmetology school now.
