If the goal is mediocrity .... Then yes.  He has proven he knows how to perpetuate the mediocre performance we have seen on the field in the vast majority of the last 20 seasons.

He seems to be taking responsibility. He doesn't appear to be hiding. He's telling us that he cares and he says that they have to win us back and they do. This isn't going to be immediate and I don't expect immediate. 

He's been the most public face of any previous Pohlad and I appreciate that. 

I wouldn't have taken the current course but they are solidly competing and I'm under the impression that he's actively in charge.

question... why is there a trade deadline ...when teams still continue to make trades??? i suggest no transactions whatsoever after this supposed deadline . only movement within your own organization. you should be able to drop a guy off your 40 and bring up a minor leaguer and dont risk him being claimed

no...just always wondered why trades still happen after this deadline.. should only be moving within own organization after the dreaded deadline

Answer is no. Given the family history he has much more heavy lifting to do. He does seem interested so that is a plus…….I think. Unless he is telling Zoll what they are doing personnel wise.
