Gray has not improved in AAA, this is a desperation move, but what is the reason,

25 at-bats. A couple of bloopers fall in and he would look like he was ripping the ball. He's an infielder and the Twins have been playing short an infielder since Buxton was activated 10 days ago.

I’d only count Jenkins of the players you mentioned. MAYBE Emma if he can stay healthy too. I don’t want others who can’t provide at least average defense.

There is nothing about Gray that is an analytic darling. This looks like old school, 'Just give me a veteran, I don't trust the young players!' kind of nonsense.

Agreed. I was only talking about the guys you listed. I want Jenkins up, or even Emma, of the guys you listed. The others, I don’t.

But I think Gray is gone soon too
