It's wild, I went back through an old thread from September of 2024 and it was pretty close to split on Royce's stance. Granted, this was before the "cheap guys," comment following the collapse, or his angst over his playing time/stats & team emphasized adjustments last year affecting his future earnings. 

Idk, these guys all have to look out for themselves to a certain extent, but I'm not sure how anybody viewed his refusal to play 2B as anything other than a bad look.

I agree, they need to look out for themselves, but that refusal spoke volumes to me. I get not everyone agrees.
