Brandon Verified Member Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 This is surprisingly a good trade proposal. There is definitely merit as the Twins need a C for 2027 and that is what the trade is for. Eduardo Tait should be ready by 2028 and hopefully get a callup the second half of 2027 to get some on the job training from Rutschman. I think the Twins should just resign Jeffers, but this isn't the worst thing that can happen. Also need to consider what the Twins would get in a trade for Jeffers in a trade as well.
Dawgzilla Verified Member Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Trade....sell....all for top tier, multiple 1-3 prospects of teams being traded to. No more retreads or getting free agents that are basement level players, hoping for a revival year! Period! Mike Sixel 1
dxpavelka Verified Member Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 Would I love to see Rutschman having a catch with TC Bear before home games? Sure. Would I trade my best starting pitcher, with two years of team control, for a catcher, with two years of team control? When I just traded my best relief pitcher for a catcher who is rated as high as our second best prospect?

He's not cheap. He's declining. This is a bizarre thing to suggest. Truly. I'm mad at myself for even skimming this article. One of the negative and unfortunate trends at TD is the significant increase in click bait articles. I tend to read TD less than I have in the past and click bait articles is one of the primary reasons Mike Sixel 1
